Elliot has wanted to be king for a long as he can remember. Growing up next to Julianna had been less of a competition and more a blatant contest of favor. One that he was constantly losing. Though he was doted on as much as one would expect for a young prince, he was not groomed for leadership in the same manner as his sister.
The Veridian Isles are a matriarchy. Always have been, always will be, unless Elliot gets his way.
His reasons for wanting the crown have never been clear. It could be the power, it could be the recognition. He'd always had an insatiable ego.
Magic came naturally to Elliot. He inherited it from his father. He has spent a majority of his life mastering the talents that his sister was granted naturally, and others that allow him to manipulate circumstances and get his way more often than not.
