Has to be worn low enough to make room for her tail. Boots and heels. Limited jewelry, usually just her collar. Wears her hair differently.

[spoiler]The circumstances of Julianna's birth are considered a royal secret. Twins born of two different fathers, one rumored to be the offspring of a demon. Queen Raine made a deal with the devil to save her people and offered her womb as payment. However, the fact that Julianna does indeed play host to a demonic entity was difficult to conceal. Sometimes her eyes turn red, and sometimes she smiles in a way that makes the small hairs at the back of your neck stand up. Sometimes she disappears for days. Most of the time she returns covered in blood. It's been this way since she was a child.

When she was old enough to be queen, her mother surrendered the throne. No longer able to bear the weight of the responsibility. Julianna vowed to do her best by her country, and things were peaceful for a while. The demon made fewer appearances as the young queen entered adulthood. It would be decades before it was even seen again.

Jean-Etienne DeVois was a general in the military when she met him. She didn't know much about him, but he was pretty and he was nice to her and she was pretty sure that was love. Belial killed him when their child was born. A tiny thing that looked like his father and they named Keiavan. Julianna had always been easier for the demon to manipulate when she was hurting.

It isn't known as to why the demon chose to terrorize the Hart lineage. Perhaps, in a past life, one of the proud Vikings had done them some great wrong. Or, even inconvenienced them in some small way.

Belial has been known to be petty.

With one slight the demon became a curse on the Hart line. Slaughtering just enough them to prove a point, leaving enough of them alive to for the lineage to continue, and then they would do it all over again. Something about Reinhold and Ishara Hart changed this vengeful method. After claiming both of their hearts and the lives of three of their children, they left two offspring to live, and have yet to make a reappearance to claim them.

Perhaps, they are just biding their time.

Or perhaps, they didn't expect Julianna to fall in love with the boy, and just maybe that game was more fun

Julianna also had not expected to fall in love with the boy. For the most part she had watched Owen from afar, she would cite that it was for his benefit, but it was inherently selfish. At some point she had been unable to stay away, and for some reason he didn't kill her on sight. Neglecting the one thing he had vowed to do. Falling for one another had been an accident for both of them.

They had two children. Cain who looked so much like his father, and Anita who looked so much like her. Another child would be lost to illness; Ethan would have looked like them both.

Owen's death had left a hole in her heart and her world that would never be filled. She was sad, but she was doing better. Her siblings erased her memories none the less. The Darkwillow siblings had never gotten along with Owen for their own reasons, and they refused to see her suffer in his absence. Julianna would hate them if she knew what they had done.

Without her husband or the memories of his presence Julianna floats around Valesport, looking for anything that will hold her attention. Whisky, or cigarettes or suspicious men in bookstores that look the husband she remembers. Her friends and family have a hard time keeping contact with her. You can't find Julianna when she doesn't want to be found. That aside, she's not the same without Owen, and that makes them a little sad. She no longer has any control of the demon, and Belial tends to do what they want.[/spoiler]
