To be more specific (I'm not posting there but I popped in to have a look):

'Scene-setting' style character intros for a walk-in ("Missy, in a last desperate bid to escape the campus moose, clambered into a dumpster") tend to work best for walk-ins where another new poster is going to be looking for a hook ("why is half a prom dress sticking out of that dumpster") or where there is a dedicated 'bartender' style character ("is there another freegan in my dumpster i swear to fucking god"). Basically those characters have an intrinsic motivation to investigate because they are not otherwise engaged, or else this new situation takes priority. It looks like the Sleeping Hunter doesn't really have that going on, since serving seems to be taken care of by NPCs puppeted by individual posters (I might be wrong idk) and most of the people who are planning to post there anytime soon are already doing so.

Which doesn't mean it was a bad post or anything! Just, that hook didn't have any bait that would work for the characters already settled in and distracted by Plots. Which happens to me a lot, ngl. Missy sat neglected in a lot of dumpsters, i tell ya what. But when that happens you've just got to either wait and see if anyone else decides to post that'll bite, or you've got to post again to get your character more involved now that you've set the scene.

Hahaha, well you can forget that because onenote just went utterly stupid and deleted a bunch of tabs that I did not need it to delete that were full of things I was working on.

So, there goes that motivation.

If you're using Chrome, you should be able to reopen your recent tabs you closed out.

I'm using OneNote which is a windows app. 
And it very adamantly stated that the action would be permanent. 

Except it was only supposed to delete one tab, not three. 

I will probably still try to write something, despite the frustration. 

OneNote defaults deletions to a recycle bin within the program, which stores for 60 days. If you can't copy paste out of there, it also creates individual files for things...so if it got dumped from the in-prog recycle bin, it might all be in your PC recycle bin.

Pre-2010, you can also go to your notebook auto-backups and restore the files directly from there. ^_^

I read about that, but I can't find these mythical recycle bins!

Bummeeeerrrrrrrrr...*makes faces* It was worth a shot. OneNote is usually way better than Word at recovery. I shall hope the words come back to you on the wind then :D
