"<font color="498fdf]Flatter me."
Passively letting her smile slip, his comment hadn't gone unnoticed. On the contrary, Ki didn't directly breach what he was implying because her guess on what it meant was limited only to her imagination. Having never thought of pulling the curtain on her own show, she couldn't sympathize; only remain a keen ear at his side. Were there sides, she would surely be on his, wouldn't she? "<font color="498fdf]Flatter me and continue to play your part, if only to appease me..." The smile returned, devious and suggestive to imply it was pleasing to ask for such things, even if she expected to be denied that sort of control. "<font color="498fdf]If I didn't know any better, I would say you're looking for someone to give you meaning in your life. Don't wait for them, Adon. Let me be your testament to what the waiting fledgling looks like." And as they sat in the gardens with their tea and their wonderfully playful banter, she didn't seem at all afraid to admit her own short comings. Where they met, she would wait, and there was no amount of time to give for just how long it may take until she earned her freedom. At least the confines that kept Ki prisoner were those she chose personally, albeit unknowingly.
One can never be sure when they are agreeing to where their tomb will rest.
Easing to sit up straight, Adon's hand was warm against the back of hers, and instinctively, her palm shifted to meet his. "<font color="498fdf]You come by your appetites honestly." The cut of her dress did wonders to press and display her ample bosom, soft flesh begging to be held in the very hold they shared across the table. Even when the words seemed so casual, there would always be something lingering in the background of their rendezvous, threatening to surface without warning or hesitation. The Fae always seemed to work on a timeline, even when the timeline wasn't entirely clear to them, and neither of the creatures present were different in that regard. If nothing else, Ki could smell it on his body; the sweet musk of anxiety. All the more arouse her senses, the raven haired vixen licked her lips with a brief murmur of contentment.
The bottom of her foot was slick with precum, though this was an afterthought in the face of what he was asking for. Subtle in a manner even Ki approved of, the femme gathered her newly refilled tea and took a refreshing sip to push back what may have easily became a sultry string of unnecessary verbs. "<font color="498fdf]Have I captured your curiosity?" Relinquishing the grasp the soles of feet held on his manhood, they were placed against the ground, bare and undeterred. "<font color="498fdf]If you have time, I can show you a thing or two." Had anyone else uttered these words, they may have seemed condescending to some degree, but Ki had a way of making even boastful remarks flattering towards those who heard them. Inviting Adon to partake in forbidden fruits, guiding with the lyrical tones of her earthbound persona. What Kayen made was unmistakably Fae, feminine and wanton, characteristically alluring in an ethereal shell.
Taking the lead came naturally, unapologetic and without pause. Ki would take him where he wished to go, leaving behind the servants and their vacant stares, as well as her half consumed Darjeeling.
Beckoning with a bat of her lashes, the Vereaux heir waited for Adon to come inside, and when it was assured he was still game, she took his hand once more and journeyed their duo upstairs. The steps were old and worn, older than Ki and likely older than her companion, but they were neat and worked well enough with the rest of the decor. The estates rested peacefully in the middle of the gardens, and vine trellis crawled high enough that the upstairs windows were encased in greenery. Mindful he had never been to the Sleeping Hunter, Ki motioned to the places they passed and spoke with a fondness she had learned to exhibit over many moons. "<font color="498fdf]We tell the visitors stories of ghosts during the Halloween festivities." Motioning to the long hall they exited into, Ki added, <font color="498fdf]"And we tell them here that a woman was slain by her jaded lover, who then threw himself from the balcony of their room and landed on his neck."
The eerie tale of romance wasn't at all distracting from why they were upstairs, but Ki didn't get into greater detail.
At the end of the long hall, it curved left, and presented a single door at the far back, which Ki traveled to with almost haunting grace. The door was opened and inside were the fineries expected from a rustic habitat on this side of town. The bed could fit several people if the need arose, and the linens were freshly changed, the air still smelling of chamomile and ginseng. A bureau hugged the wall near the entrance to the bathroom, and a series of tables and dressers covered the space to either side of the mattress. There was even a table and chairs to sit on the balcony overlooking the veranda they had been on previously, though Ki doubted Adon was looking for another long winded conversation over more tea.
"<font color="498fdf]Please, make yourself at home." Ki did just what she asked of her companion, finding a seat at the edge of the bed while still bare toes ran along the plush carpeting. Most of the rooms had timberwood flooring, but she had insisted she had no real want or desire for such blandness, so a royal blue installment was made to match the inlaid designs in the furniture. One look told the story of a rich woman, spoiled and pampered and preened, though it didn't seep through when she spoke. At least not to Adon, who was an equal in her eyes, even if others had no want or desire to agree. Idly, one of her hands ran along the v-cut of her bust, tracing the framing fabric that mockingly kept her body from his view. The anticipation was palpable as fingers eased their tips behind the veil of cloth, her glowing orbs directed at his features.
"<font color="498fdf]As you can see, my pastime pleasure is not so different from your own." A sculpted eyebrow raised in question. "<font color="498fdf]Of course, I could be reading you wrong. Enlighten me?"
