Talents:

• Yes, I’m Fluent: Emma is a linguist and translator who speaks and reads a frankly unreasonable number of languages, and has a knack for picking new ones up. She’s normally decent at compartmentalizing each one, but has been known to slip random words from one or the other in when she’s distracted.
  
• Sleep? Ahahahaha.: Emma has severe insomnia, and has essentially just ‘learned to cope’ with a constant lack of sleep. You can tell how little she’s had by how dead she looks and how much coffee she’s drinking.
  
• Formal Training? Noooo, it’s just a… hobby.: Emma is suspiciously good at a lot of things that someone with her job history really has no business being talented in, such as sharpshooting, throwing knives, hand-to-hand combat, horseback riding, lockpicking, intel gathering, and an intimate knowledge of most security systems. If any of it comes up, she explains that she has very eclectic and also perfectly legal and reasonable hobbies.

Personality: In a word: grumpy. Excessively so, really. Emma radiates the air of someone who simply wants to be left alone to do her job in peace… so of course, almost no one actually lets her do that. Her aura of “fuck you, no,” works on the normal and the shy, but the bold and the overly-friendly are often pulled to her as if by the force of gravity itself, to her infinite dismay. Working as an elf in a human-dominated place has left her more than a little jaded. Insults and jokes are frequent enough that they go largely ignored… but never forgotten.
