History --------- Vance was born to strict parents who saw him as more of an obligation than a blessing, which ultimately led to their decision he be sent away to boarding school for most of his childhood and adolescence. After he graduated top of his class, the youth was accepted into a prestigious ivy league school where he ultimately met the one great love of his life. Her name was Noel, and the two seemed to click instantly, dating throughout their years in college until Vance finally mustered the courage to ask her to marry him. The two were happy for a time, but tragedy struck in the form of a drive by shooting, and Noel was gunned down by masked assailants who were never caught. Since then, something has been off about Vance – but no one has been given the opportunity to get close. He spends most of his time after hours in his home, doing lord knows what in his lab.
? Personality --------- By nature, Vance has always been quiet, constantly caught in deep thought instead of idle conversation. His motives are his own, and feverishly he fights for what he believes in, even if his view is considered ‘wrong’ by others. Having always been quite intelligent, the man knows just what buttons to push to get business done and just who to talk to when strings need to be pulled. Still, he’s been known to put people on edge with his strange opinions and peculiar mannerisms.
? Powers/Abilities;;
? Cryokinesis - The ability to control and produce ice and cold, which is channeled through his hands.
? Extreme Intellect – Vance is a genius, and in such, he possesses above average abilities in the form of reasoning and deduction.
? Noel - Based on the wife Vance lost, this hallucination is both helpful and a hindrance. While he may come off strange in public when he speaks with her and often has to explain away the odd behavior, she also serves a valuable purpose when it comes to information gathering. Vance's mind seems to segment itself into both himself and Noel, meaning he can think and discover and evaluate and gather in terms of close range multi-tasking. Often what Noel finds is just what is happening in background, thus isn't really any different than most people - but Vance can go about his business and Noel can go about her own, giving him the split information receiving required to notice vital flaws and merits to situations.
? Weaknesses --------- Vance thinks Noel is haunting him, and often gets caught up in imaginary conversations with his dead wife. Vance is also something of a conspiracy theorist, and often locks himself away for weeks at a time, trying to avoid ‘spies’ and government attention. Being only human, he is susceptible to illness and injury, as well as fatality, and has normal strength, speed and regeneration.
