<font color="9ce619] On closer inspection the room around them was quite large like most of the ones within Inverted Cathedral, the thick forest green curtains blocked the majority of the sunlight from falling directly onto the bed though some of the golden light pooled over the furniture and walls. The walls were a light cream while the floor was one of Saydri’s favourite features in this room, the golden wood was stained and polished, though he had purchased deep green and white fluffy rugs to spread across it in some areas – he liked fluffy things and while he liked wood he didn’t enjoy cold feet.
There was a sitting area away from the bed with a black lounge and armchairs with emerald green pillows. They were set on one of the rugs, glass and dark wood made up the coffee table and side tables and it was in front of a large television. On closer inspection the whole room held a multitude of modern appliances that most could only crave – there was an in-built music system, a coffee machine and bar fridge built into a small alcove as well as an air-conditioning unit built into the wall above the bathroom door.
Even the black and white tiled bathroom wasn’t exempt from the technology, though it had a similar pattern of green and cream in the towels, taps in the bathroom glowed depending on which tap he had on or how hot or cold the water was – both shower and basin, it was like a light show but at least the furnishings were relatively simple besides that (or so he thought though there was more hidden technology like the bath being a hot tub with changing LED lights and that there was a television that came out of the end of the bath).
At least the furniture appeared simple, similarly stained dark wood was chunky with a simple design making up his chest of draws, as well as his bedside tables – though those housed both an electric clock as well as chrome and white touch lamps. A chest that sat at the base of the bed which held a lot of his personal belongings, where the glass ‘floating shelves’ on the far wall were empty of trinkets. The large king sized bed that Seri was currently sitting on, was wood as well with a headrest and the sheets, pillows and comforter were a mix of green, silver and black – ones that had been brought back to semblance of order by the young woman in his absence.
Saydri opened his mouth to protest the idea of Seri getting out of bed when she was sick but she was already up, so instead he took another bite of his sandwich. Silver eyes watched the woman, drawn to the sight of her figure was shown off in the oversized shirt that skimmed over slender thighs and showing off long legs. When she came back and settled back beside him, he accepted her choice to lean against him without complaint – she didn’t weigh very much really, though his attention continued to shift back to her for two reasons.
“Are you sure you are alright?” He was still concerned about her, though it’d be a lie to say his gaze didn’t sometimes detour. Taking in the swell of breasts against the soft green fabric and the silky silver strands that were still for the most part in the braid he’d done the night before other than a few strands that had escaped around her face. Saydri had definitely been tempted to continue, the proof of that was hard within his pants and an uncomfortable reminder as well as the reason he had skipped boxers when he’d gone looking for clothes. Unfortunately he wasn’t the most talkative person which meant that while Saydri did think those things, he didn’t always express them.
