[1x1] Cuddles and Colds [Closed] - Angel Kimmi - 11-24-2014

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was still quietly staring at the boots wondering what it was about them that hurt Seri. They looked like ordinary boots to him. Well if you counted the thick platform heels as ordinary. He didn't quite understand why females liked to wear shoes with very high heels...all he could think was that they secretly wanted to be taller?

The hunter glanced up, his gray gaze shifting towards Ruka as she mentioned something about magicking away the mess. What was wrong with hard old fashioned work? He wondered silently as he thread his fingers through the auburn strands before his gaze shifted towards the room, which suddenly became far more tidy than it had been moments before.

Saydri wrinkled his nose slightly at the use of magic but chose to stay silent rather than state that he could have done it. One of the main reasons was that at least he didn't have to walk around and sweep the whole floor before he felt comfortable about the fact Seri was moving around bare-foot. Since she seemed quite adamant about the fact she didn't like her shoes.

He didn't know why...

Startled slightly as she came over and spoke to him about them not being his size and he tilted his head to the side in mild confusion. Why would they be his size when they were hers? He watched her silently for a few moments before noticing the thick silver-white strands that had been messily pulled into some semblance of a bun, a very messy one.

"Why would they be my size? Are they not your size? I was merely wondering why you seem so unhappy at the thought of wearing them." He stated softly as he absently put his hands in his pockets, finding what he was looking for before stepping forward. Saydri's hands once more settling on Seri's waist and he picked her up in a smooth movement.

<font color="e6b519]Turning away Setrin started across the room and towards the stairs with the intention of heading to his room to go to bed. Not that he was tired, since the last few hours went by without him doing a thing, but he didn't want to be around them.

"Cleaning aint my thing. G'nite."

<font color="9ce619]Angling her to the side he moved behind her, one hand settling on her shoulder as the other unbound the hair from the haphazard bun she'd created. Letting the long silvery-white tresses fall loose towards the floor. He slowly worked his fingers carefully through them, pulling the pins from the tresses as he rubbed at her scalp.

He was making sure not to miss them.

Strands so silky and smooth within his slightly calloused fingers. Working with surprising ease he gathered up the long strands, pulling an emerald green ribbon from his pocket. He worked it into a braid, a trail of colour woven within the pale strands, using the pins that he had removed to further secure the silken strands in place as he worked lower.

<font color="199ce6]To say the look of confusion in his expression once he looked to her wasn't tempting would be a lie. So like most people, she wanted to poke and tease him again to see that expression. The slight furrow combined with a raised left eye brow and the tilt of his head, as if he tried to listen to her words again.

But that desire to tease him more faded as he questioned her statement about her shoes. They obviously wouldn't fit him, he was nigh four heads over her own and broad. Not chubs, but muscles and all hard. She'd felt them earlier when he held her after she was tripped. None the less, she felt her shoulders droop a little when he didn't understand her attempt at a joke.

Seri was very bad at them, apparently...

Looking down to her feet, she gave a little sigh which turned into a yelp as Saydri lifted her once more to settle on the bar. Surprised, she lifted her hands up to rest on his for support from the sudden movement. She did not resist. Perhaps there was something on the floor again. Yet as he settled her down in a sight angle, her hands immediately went to her lap to hold her skirt down and her legs together.

For modesty reasons.

Seri looked around the room at Setrin, Ruka and Leather pants - she really needed to learn his name - to be sure they had not seen anything she'd not want seen. A girl had to keep some dignity and decorum about her when her friends list consisted of her boss and a cat she once owned.

As Saydri moved behind her, removing the pins and running his hands through her long hair, she lowered her gaze to her lap. Her shoulders relaxed at the feeling of his hands moving along her scalp. Bangs fell around her face to keep her expression out of sight.

She smiled, delighting in the treatment and attention so little had ever given her. The shiver down her spine and the sigh from pure pleasure escaped her control as Setrin announced he would be going to bed. Her head slowly looked up to his retreating back and she gave a little wave.

"Setrin..!! Uh-...good night. Thank you for-...tonight..." Her words slowly became softer as she spoke, finding her strength draining the more Saydri played with her hair. What was he doing to her hair? It felt amazing, and heavy but comfortable.

<font color="e6b519]Setrin glanced over his shoulder as the woman spoke to him, his hearing was more than adequate to hear despite the softness. He smiled, turning around so that he was walking backwards towards the stairs. Hands going into his pockets as he said, "You're welcome Snow. Saydri'll take care of you. G'nite and sweet dreams hm?"

<font color="199ce6]Once he was done, she lifted her hands behind her to feel his work.

Seri couldn't see the braid or ribbon, but it was a better braid than she had ever been able to manage to make. And the ribbon. Was it the same color as the band he wore? Turning quickly about, she looked to Saydri and gave a gentle smile, one that reached her eyes so a swirl of glacial blue and silver-blue moved about for a moment in her bright orbs.

"...Saydri..." Her voice was soft as she spoke his name, a touch of a strange accent laced within her words as she took his hands in her own and pulled him closer to where she sat. Keeping her legs together, his waist collided with her hip when she pulled him close.

Seri brought a hand up so she could rest her cheek in his hand and nuzzle his palm. "Thank you...I love it..."

<font color="9ce619]Saydri wasn't slow. He was very intelligent - just in matters of wilderness, survival and hunting, things that he was most comfortable with. Other things, well he had trouble understanding some concepts, they seemed to go over his head especially technology. Though that was a whole different problem, he just seemed naturally to break it.

Even when he didn't do anything.

Saydri wasn't concerned about anything else other than sliding his fingers through the silk strands and settling them into some semblance of order. Ruka could keep the stranger in line he was sure, the only time his attention wandered was when Seri addressed Setrin. He nodded his head towards the phoenix before returning to his work - his hands were currently occupied.

He enjoyed the repetitive actions. They allowed him to settle into a comfortable rhythm. He also enjoyed the way that the female was relaxing beneath his touch, perhaps the most relaxed he'd seen in a while. He couldn't see her expression but he could hear the soft little sigh of pleasure, which caused a rare smile to curve on his own lips.

It used two ribbons before he tied it off with a small amount of wavy silvery-white hair left at the end. He twisted it then, looping the braid so that he could secure it with more of the pins, the free strands trailing delicately around the back of her head loose. It would be out of the way and tidy, at least for a while.

Surprise flickered across his expression when she turned around suddenly and he found himself gazing into ice-blue eyes. His hands moving away from her hair as she did so automatically, so as not to mess up the hairstyle. His gaze dropping to her lips as she spoke his name before dropping to their hands when she took his. Fingers interwove with her own as he was pulled closer, he was still taller than her by a few inches despite the fact she was sitting on the bench top.

There was something about the way she whispered his name...

His breath caught in his throat. The heat of her body, he could feel it in close proximity even though there was space between them. Their bodies only pressing through clothing here and there. Dark lashes slid downwards against his cheek as he felt the softness of her skin against his hand and the soft nuzzle.

"You are most welcome," he said with a smile as his eyes opened once more, his thumb lightly brushing across her cheek. His gaze once more focusing on the silvery-white strands and their entwined fingers, "I did not mind working on my day off, so that you would not be alone. Not that worked long this evening."

<font color="199ce6]Seri loved the way he smiled and seemed to cherish the feeling of her cheek in his palm. Maybe, like her, he had gone without physical contact for a long time. She craved it, and not just in a sexual way. A simple embrace, holding someone's hand or - as Saydri had already done - played with someone's har. She'd grown up in a world where it was common place to embrace or kiss, hold and hug as a greeting or farewell. How people had stopped doing that, she never really tried to focus on.

It was too sad...

While he didn't move to pull away from her, she moved her hand from the back of his, hoping he'd leave his hand to her cheek. With one hand now entwined with his, her other moved to his waist to settle there. She looked up at him, her usual small smile in place as emotions danced in her eyes.

They were muted, controlled and bland one might say, but they were there is one looked closely.

"How did you know I was-....wanting company...?" It was hard to admit when she was lonely, and tonight especially was the worst of all days of the year. It used to hold plenty of good memories for her. Gifts, cakes and other treats. But once her world changed and people blurred in and out of her life it turned into just an old memory.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri enjoyed the sight of Seri smiling, of the hint of expression within the pale blue eyes. For once he agreed with Setrin's choice of nickname. Seri was fresh and clean, cool to touch... reminding him of snow and the purest of streams that wound their way down from the mountains, and fed by the snow-caps. She was strong...and yet so soft and delicate, like a flower. Like the snowdrops from where he grew up amid the mountains. Such a hardy plant, despite snow and wind it flourished and produced its flowers, small and delicate but with a heady perfume.

Saydri didn't pull away. Made no movement to move even when the hand against his slipped away, his palm remained against her cooler cheek. Thumb brushing out across her smooth skin as he looked down at her, his gray eyes almost distant and yet so thoughtful and perceptive.

As the hand settled at his waist he shifted closer. Invading somewhat, what others would normally associate as their personal space. Those kinds of lines were a little gray for Saydri when it was someone he felt comfortable with. At her question he frowned slightly, how had he known...anyone else would make some flippant comment or white lie.

But not Saydri.

Gray eyes flickered over to his employer when she spoke his name, his head tilting slightly, inquisitive. A smile curving his lips at the praise, softening his expression further as he lightly brushed a hand along the silky strands making sure it was in place. "It was a pleasure to do."

As she walked away he waved goodnight to her as she ascended the stairs before turning his attention back to Seri. Fingertips lightly brushing along her jawline before he leaned forward, resting his forehead lightly against hers. "I don't know. Your eyes...just seemed sadder, and you smell a bit like rain," he murmured softly.

<font color="199ce6]It didn't take much for Seri to warm up to the man who braided her hair. He'd been kind and caring, going out of his way to help her when things had been out of hand. Saydri was warm against the chill of her skin. Heat and comfort while she wore his coat and his hand to her cheek.

Nuzzling against him, she heard Ruka call for her. She did not move to look to her boss and brought her eyes towards her none the less. Was she going to be called away? Please no...she liked it here with him. He calmed her and her creature completely. Not a growl, scratch or rattle could be felt within her mind. Not like when she was around others.

Yet, at the prospect of shopping, she perked up to glace to Ruka's retreating back, knowing it would be a much needed and appreciated trip. Has she complained too many times? Perhaps she had. Even if not to the same person. Wait, who did she speak to other than those she had spoke to today? Ruka spoke at her, the conversations one sided and very short. Saint often poked at her in ways to get a reaction. Soon, he'd pay for all those jabs.

Maybe spit in his next drink or toss his cigarettes in the toilet...

With Ruka gone, Seri looked back once more to Saydri as he caressed her cheek with his thumb. Drawing closer, she felt the heat falling off him in waves. It took some will to not nuzzle all up against him. For now, she would not ask for more attention than she had already been given.

He leaned towards her, enticing a small expectant gasp past soft lips that nearly choked back a groan when she realized he intended to rest his forehead atop her own. The creature still didn't stir within her and seemed to be curling up in comfort.

Was it his scent or his other half, the side of him she did not know or see. Unlike most others, they could feel when someone wasn't human. Seri, it was more like the reaction of her creature. Some were obvious, like Saint or Aneirin, while others were curiosities like Saydri and Ruka. With them, she was fully in control and able to relax a bit more.

"...My eyes...?" she said without a stutter, blinking up at him while her fingers traced lines along his side. Did she smell like rain? Like him? Chuckling softly, she sat up and nuzzled into his cheek. "You smell like rain and grass..."

Her grin grew before she moved closer to him, inching against him till she all but rubbed against his front. An ear pressed to his chest to listen and lean to embrace him. Seri let her arms slide around his waist, holding him lightly and calmly. So much tension seemed to fade away once they were all but alone. Only Anei remained.

"Ah...have you-...eaten...?"

<font color="9ce619]He sensed something illusive within the young woman, something different but not in a bad way. He was different after all, even among his own people. Something familiar almost. Saydri let out a soft rumble that was part hum and part purr as the slender woman nuzzled against him. Of course it also helped that she didn't seem to think he was strange - at least that he'd noticed.

As she pressed closer he accepted it, never questioning the reason she curled within his arms or accepted him. His body naturally ran at a little higher temperature than most humans, but not to Setrin's extreme. Still she was warming up where her skin was pressed against his own, even where their foreheads met softly.

It had been some time since he'd been this close to someone.

Well someone other than Setrin, how he'd made friends with the fiery loud-mouthed phoenix he still wasn't sure but he enjoyed the company. But coming out of his thoughts he frowned slightly at her laughter, though his body naturally leaned towards the hand that traced upwards. Uncertain as to why until she told him that he smelt like rain and grass.

"No...the rain," he trailed off deciding it wasn't important. People thought he was strange when he associated scents with people's emotions at times. Instead he went quiet again as Seri moved closer and rubbed against him, pulling a mild smile to his lips once more. She was like a cat...

Saydri glanced away suddenly realizing that the warlock had disappeared at some point after Ruka's own. It was somewhat...unsettling that he hadn't noticed. Perhaps he'd disappeared to lick his wounds or to recuperate after whatever had occurred.

His attention returned to the woman that was listening to the quiet thump of his heart within his chest as she held him. One hand lightly brushed back over her hair before sliding down her neck, noticing that she seemed far more relaxed now and he quietly lowered his head. He nuzzled gently at the top of her head, taking in the mix of scents.

Saydri could ignore his own scent and focus on hers. It reminded him of snow... fresh and cold. Most would say that snow didn't have a taste, a scent... but they were wrong. It was subtle almost the absence of it, the freshness, the hint of sweetness...something that was impossible to put into words. "You smell like snow...and a hint of flowers."

He blinked at the question and thought about it before shaking his head slightly as he straightened, "No, I haven't. Are you hungry?"

<font color="199ce6]Her skin against his, even in the smallest bits that touched, warmed her. The chill she always felt around her body like a layer of ice. Empty and unforgiving like the stare of the moon. If anything, she'd like to stay like this as long as he let her.

Eyes closed, fanning impossibly thick, long lashes to her cheek when he embraced her in return. Her mind solely focused on Saydri. Ruka had left, this she knew since she had watched her leave, and the one in leather pants must have left as well. If not, than he remained in a room alone while the other two were in an embrace.

It was an embarrassing idea, but one that made her chuckle as well.

"...Snow...and flowers?" Seri remained quiet a moment as she thought about that. He had said rain earlier, but perhaps now it was something else since they were closer. Perhaps..."I like-....snow flowers... and yes, i'm-...k-kinda hungry." her creature stirred at the thought of food. Yowling as both their stomachs grumbled in anger.

Last time she had eaten was perhaps a week ago. Like most humans, she enjoyed scarfing down mountains of carbs; pasta, bread, potatoes, anything she could heat up, put some salt, pepper and butter on and eat. She could cook, but sometimes it took too long to prepare a meal in the amount she'd need. One meal a week, and she'd not have to feed again for at least five days. Ten if she was without immediate accessibility.

Luckily, the kitchen was always over flowing with food here, so she had snacked. A snack which often was the size of a meal for a man. How one as thin and fit as her could eat so much could only be explained by the fact she merely wasn't human.

"We should-...make something, yes? There's-...food in the kitchen." She made to pull away, only the moment she did her body shivered from the missing warmth. Seri focused on his chest, forcing the goose bumps to go away the longer she took to remove herself from him.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri wasn't uncomfortable despite the mild chill that surrounded the woman within his arms. He wasn't in any obvious rush to release her or move away. This woman that smelled of something so faint and almost indescribable, as close to nothing as he'd ever smelt...but there were hints, fragments swirled within that spoke to him of familiarity.

Comfort and contentment flowing through him as he stood silent and unmoving. Something that usually unnerved others, the sudden stillness that he could adapt. Though as she seemed to focus on pulling away from him her words brought the image of small white flowers to mind, peeking out of the snow and amongst the rocky mountains. The image fit perfectly - or at least the ones where he came from.

"I like snow flowers," he murmured quietly against her strands.

At her question the grey eyes seemed to warm and he smoothed his hand lightly over her back. The familiar fabric under his palm and he was thoughtful, his auburn strands settling free other than the small plaits within. She reminded him of so many things... flowers, snow, a snow cat with her purring and nuzzling. Such an intricate puzzle.

"You...evoke such interesting sensations and memories," he murmured in a soft voice as he lightly stroked her cheek with his thumb before turning his gaze in the direction of the kitchen. "If you'd like? Cooking might be enjoyable though it is...late."

A distant look in the grey eyes as he stared at the wall, lips parting as he looked down at her once more. A look in his eyes, speculative...thoughtful as he glanced at her lips and then her eyes. "Cook or go out?"

<font color="199ce6]Hands remained on his waist, fingers slipped under his shirt to toy along the skin she found there with cold, feather light caresses. Seri no longer leaned against him, his warmth a memory she craved to have again. But at that rate, the pair wouldn't leave their current position behind the bar.

The way he felt in her arms, the way he stood like a solid object. Tall, soft yet firm with taut muscles ad warm. Warmer than anyone she'd ever embraced before. Not that she went around holding people, but she had her encounters with hand shakes, hugs and the like. And yet there was something else that she enjoyed about the man still with in her grasp.

He kept her evil at bay.

He didn't scratch and snarl against her or try to use words to whisper to her. No, he lay still. Those eyes of swirling black just watching with the subtle hint of desire with in them. Seri could feel the stare in the back of her own eyes, felt it pressing against her as she stared at Saydri's chest. She could see the rise and fall of his lungs and the feel of his breath falling over her hair and across the tip of her nose. Her body shivered at the feel of his hand running down her back over his coat, creating a brief purr to vibrate from her throat

"Do I...?" she inquired to his murmurs while nuzzling against the thumb that stroked her cheek. "Hmm~....Yes, it's a bit late for...cooking." Her lifted her gaze to meet his, her eyes locked in his while she saw them drop to her lips.

Seri felt her self purr at the idea of his kiss. Tempting and warm, fresh or salted. What would he taste like against her lips? Wound he devour her or savor her as he had when they embraced? She was glad he did not push her away or feel odd with the way she took hold of him. Some often mistook her lack of expression as a lack of emotion. She knew she was cold, and her gaze sometimes unwelcome. But that did not mean she was without feeling.

"Go out...for dinner...? Like-....a diner or fast food?" she tried to think of places open at 2am, aside from one you drive up and order things wrapped in paper or closed in boxes. It did sound nice to leave, but considering she smelt like beer and it was getting rather sticky, she shook her head to decline.

"Perhaps...another day we can go out. We can make alfredo and mix it with left over chicken from yesterday. If-...you don't mind..." Standing on her toes, she leaned her chest against him and placed a ghost of a kiss to his cheek. Hands grasped him at his waist to keep her in place while she nuzzled into his neck, inhaling his scent and taking more of his warmth.

[1x1] Cuddles and Colds [Closed] - Angel Kimmi - 11-24-2014

<font color="9ce619]Saydri felt cool fingers brush lightly against his skin, skimming over his stomach and abs. He wondered silently why she seemed so cold. He had always been warmer than most but, he didn't think he'd ever felt someone naturally feel so cool to touch - natural because Seri didn't shudder and tremble as mortals tended to when they were cold.

It seemed she sought out warmth instinctively, but didn't actually need it.

He smiled at the soft purrs that came from the woman, enjoying the sound of the quiet rumble within the silence of the room. Seri reminded him of a cat. There was something about her that hinted to something more - even if he hadn't noticed the purring or her cool skin. Something that echoed familiarity. He sensed something lingering within her that he couldn't pinpoint, but then he didn't try too hard.

It was not for him to know or analyze. Humanity was too caught up in their own importance, assuming that they were the only sentient race. He would never be 'normal' as far as humanity was concerned, something that he had long ago accepted. Even for those who lacked their differences, normality was an impossible concept... how did one categorize a nation of individuals?

His grey gaze focusing once more on her eyes as she spoke to him. He supposed he should have thought the question through better. Few places would be open so late at night. He had forgotten that she had skipped time quite a few hours, he had to keep reminding himself. "I do not mind."

Automatically one hand settled on the bench behind him and one on the woman's waist as she leaned against him. He felt the curves that slotted against his harder body, the cool soft lips against his cheek before she nuzzled into him. Very much reminding him once more of a cat. His words were simple and quiet, "Easier than finding somewhere open at this time of night. I will ask another evening."

Saydri brushed his lips across her the soft silvery strands before picking the woman up into his arms bridal style, his arms coming under her knees as she nestled against him. It seemed natural to do so rather than make her move. It didn't cross his mind that perhaps he should ask her, rather than just carry her around as he pleased. Still his cheek nestled against the top of her head as he headed towards the door that held the kitchen, using his shoulder to push open the swinging doors.

Gray eyes adjusting perfectly to the difference in light as the door closed behind them, allowing him to find the light switch to the left. Using his elbow he flicked it on flooding the room with light. It was large, larger than most kitchens though it was understandable considering Ruka had a hundred or more guest rooms - even if they weren't all filled, they had the potential to be.

<font color="199ce6]"Then, pasta and-...ah-..." Her words were cut off as he lifted her up. Hands grasping his shoulders to keep from falling. Not that he wobbled or gave pause when he lifted her, but the fact that he had suddenly made her thing he had seen something she did not.

Bright silvered glacial blue eyes looked around the room, looking for that which he saw and she didn't. It took her but a few moments to realize there was nothing there. Then-...why did her lift her?

She was not one to be pulled about. Being lifted, held, pulled, moved or maneuvered like someone's play thing. And had it been anyone else, they would find a few years of their life missing. Important or not, people did not like to lose so much time. One would think that her bite would be physical, maybe a maim or missing limb. But that was not Seri's style. If anything, that was her creatures. It was inside her to do it, but not her first choice. Like the weeping angels in the Doctor Who show, she stole their life. Or, parts of it.

But-...she didn't feel any anger towards Saydri as he held her in his arms and carried her to the kitchen. If anything, she liked that he was so willing to be close to her. He didn't feel like fear, there was no suspicion in his eyes or hesitation in his touch.

Not even Ruka had gotten this close to her, and they had known each other longer. A solid week at this point.

The black, knee high platform boots were long forgotten, falling off her feet since she did not zip them up, and instead she nuzzled into him. Warm, strong and quiet was her giant friend. Very comfortable...soft, yet hard at the same time...

Her eyes closed, fanning impossibly long, thick onyx lashes across hr cheeks as her body slowly got limp in his arms till he turned on the light to the kitchen. She groaned softly and whimpered against the inability to sleep just yet. She was hungry, and Saydri said he was as well. There was still something that must be done.

"Ah-....th-thank you..." Tentatively, she held his shoulders and waited for him to put her down. Keeping herself against him, she smiled and placed another nuzzle against his cheek with her own. "I'm sorry for-...bring forward l-like this..." She stuttered quietly, "C-can you boil water while I-....prepare the ch-chicken...?"

<font color="9ce619]Many found him unsettling in his size as well as his mannerisms. Unnatural. Seri seemed to accept his touch and presence with surprising fluidity. She hadn't rejected him and he didn't feel any anxiety or anger from her. If anything she seemed to accept him readily in the way that she touched and nuzzled into him, purring in a way he enjoyed.

It never crossed his mind that there might be anything wrong with what he was doing. No hesitation or second thoughts as he lifted her. Seri wanted to go to the kitchen and she was leaning against him - so he took her there.

Sure he didn't go around picking up people randomly most of the time - well none that he was allowed to talk about. Setrin would be most upset with him, he thought with a soft chuckle before he glanced down at Seri who groaned and whimpered at the sudden influx of light, causing him to cock his head to the side.

A soft rumble coming from Saydri as she nuzzled him back and he let her legs slide back down to the floor as he supported her. Finally moving his arms away other than one steadying at her waist. Confusion glimmered momentarily at her question about the water, why would he have an issue with that? Once she was steady he moved over and picked up the kettle tentatively hoping he wouldn't break anything.

Moving over to the sink he turned on the tap, "Would you rather sleep?"

<font color="199ce6]Ready to immediately agree to sleep, she paused before she could reply.

Her stomach growled, changing her usual empty expression into one of pain for just a moment before she sighed. "I-...think food first. It will take b-but a....moment..."

Her feet dragged towards the fridge, body slumped over and head nearly wobbling on her head as if barely remaining attached to her neck. She had been on the verge of sleep while within his arms. Warm, comfortable and ready to curl up against him for the night. But food was something she had suggested, something he seemed to want.

So she couldn't disappoint him.

"After a little bit of f-food..." she looked over at him, a container of shredded chicken in her hand as well as butter, heavy cream, a type of white cheese and a few other things. She balanced them all one atop the other and against her chest. They were supported in her arms by her body and hands while she carried the ingredients over to the stove.

"I think there's-...angel hair and p-penne pasta....unless you don't...care?" She glanced to her side at Saydri, her hands working on making the sauce.

<font color="9ce619]He was facing the wall as he filled the kettle with seemingly exaggerated caution when he smiled at the sound of her stomach. It answered him far more honestly than most spoke and he dropped the subject of letting her go to sleep without food. It wasn't good to skip meals anyway.

"Alright," he said softly in response to the fact that she was still going to cook. Looking over his shoulder he saw her dragging her feet towards the large white icebox. Saydri wished that he was a bit better with the modern technology of this world, he would have offered to do it for her if he could considering the fact she seemed so tired.

But if he broke something the food might take even longer...

"I don't mind...but," he was about to ask if she needed assistance with the way she was juggling everything. He was almost worried that it would all fall over like a collapsing tower. But suddenly he heard a sudden sound and felt water spraying all over his hand and he turned back to the sink - it was overflowing.

Saydri cursed under his breath as it got over his skin and he reached out with his other hand and jerked on the tap too hard. Instead of turning it off he merely made it worse. Breaking the tap off causing the water to gush and splash over him and his shirt as he pulled the kettle from the sink. Pulling the plug from within the basin he pressed his hand to the nozzle causing it to spray over his shirt before he gave up and dropped his hands.

Stepping back away from it the silver eyes narrowed on the thing. It was his fault however, he'd been too sharp with his movements. He hadn't been thinking about his strength and what he was doing. Now what was he going to do? He thought as the water poured and he had no way to stop it.

<font color="199ce6]Seri jumped when water came flying at her, causing the sauce in the pan to be carried off and away with her so it wouldn't get ruined. Not that it mattered, since the heated liquid sloshed about and a little over a quarter of it spilt to the floor. She stared at the mess they both made, and then mainly to the sink as water continued to spray in every which direction.

She did not seem angry or upset, but shocked. And poor Saydri. His shirt and clothes were going to get completely drenched like this. His coat was safe and dry with her, but for how much longer?

In her mind, she imagined the whole building getting filled with the water like a Disney cartoon back when it was all black and white.

It was impossible, but still a quaint idea.

Carefully, the sauce pan was set aside and she easily slipped from his jacket to set it behind a chair a good distance from the water. She already was going to have it cleaned, so not wanting to make it worse was always a good idea. Once she was just in her own clothes, she moved over to the sink and reached into the basin.

It was hard to see what she was looking for, water spraying in her face and plastering her clothes to her body even more. The feather head piece fell some time ago and lay on the floor, as well as the bandage that Ruka had put over the wound on her foot.

But once she found the handle to the faucet, she held it to the spouting water and used her ability to mend it back into place to the moment before he snapped it off. The water was still all around them, dripping from the walls and ceiling, making the room smell like rain. But at least no more would be trying to drown them.

"There....are you alright?" Turning carefully to look at him, Seri felt very much like a wet cat after a bath."Ah....this is a lot of water...."

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was irritated at himself. This is why he was supposed to pay attention to what he was doing. To be more careful. He thought with a frown as he stared at the water that was pouring unabated into the sink - what was going into the sink... just as much was flying this way and that. Both from his attempts to block the water and even after.

He was already beginning to contemplate going to find Ruka with reluctance lest he cause more damage when he saw her move over to where he'd vacated. The kettle was now on the bench near where it plugged in as he watched with curiosity as Seri got herself drenched. Saydri wasn't certain what she was looking for, but he didn't think it was necessary - until he saw the tap.

Realization appeared in him as she managed to get the tap back in place and the rush of water was suddenly cut off. Leaving quite the mess in the kitchen. The water would dry at least but he couldn't say the same for the spilled sauce for their dinner. He wondered silently if Ruka would kill them.

"I'm fine...are you alright?" He said quietly in response to the question that was asked. He was quite wet. The large expanses of tanned skin were coated with water and it was splashed across his t-shirt causing it to stick to him in some places...then of course there was his pants. Saydri winced slightly in response to the way they stuck to him wetly, damp auburn strands sticking to his skin.

It was somewhat uncomfortable.

Still as Saydri took her in and realised she was in much the same condition. He hadn't meant to make things worse and he closed his eyes, sighing softly. "I'm sorry."

<font color="199ce6]Seri gathered the braid that hung down her back and gave it a few twists in the sink, letting the water that had gathered at least not add to what was already on the floor. "Yes, i'm fine. Just-....a bit w-wet..." Looking about at the kitchen, she sighed and knew there could be water damage for how much spilt out. Maybe not for a long time, but the renovations Ruka had done were fairly new and it would be a hassle to get them redone in ten years time.

Also, someone might come down for a midnight snack, slip and hurt themselves. Seri couldn't let it be at just that.

Carefully, she moved closer to Saydri and grasped his arm just before her foot lost traction and wet slipping off to the side. She stumbled just a bit, grateful her other leg maintained balance but when paired with her tall friend she was in no danger of falling. "You look-....m-miserable..."

A smile was offered to him, a little cheeky grin while she stood with him, holding onto his arms. "Y-you didn't do anything to-....warrant an ap-ppology. But, we should try to-....get the water up. Dinner can-...wait till next time..."

It would have been easier if she'd froze the water before falling the ground, concentrating time to completely stop just around where the facet was spraying the liquid but Saydri might have gotten involved or stuck since he was covered in water as well. So, she would need to clean up the old fashioned way.

A map, buckets and rags.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was looking around him, noticing the water that slicked the tiles and cabinets. He had made a right mess. He was irritated in himself and the emotion lingered and built up within him when he noticed all the possible damage he could have caused. Kitchens were built to stand up to a lot to his understanding, most should be fine if cleaned quickly.

As she moved closer to him he watched silently, a flicker of panic appearing in his eyes as she half slipped and his hand came down to grasp her waist. She seemed to straighten and catch herself against him. Settling the momentary panic, and glancing at the woman he realised that she was just as drenched as he was, perhaps more. Both of their clothes stuck to them.

He wasn't so sure that he didnt owe many apologies. He'd made quite the mess, and he knew Seri was already tired and now she had more to tidy up. Saydri wouldn't have her tidying up what was his fault when she was exhausted. He picked her up and set her onto the floor by the oven, where she wouldn't slip once more before removing her hand carefully from him.

Moving back over to the chair, he took his jacket from where she'd put it and moved back. Nuzzling the top of her wet head as he slid the fabric around her, uncaring if she wet it. "Water will make you colder," he said quietly it was almost a question but not quite. He wasn't certain that it was the same with her but he did not want to make her sick. "You cook and I will clean?"

<font color="199ce6]He pulled away from her and gathered his coat. She half expected him to walk out on her as Saint hd earlier that evening. Leaving her to do the work herself with not so much as an explanation. However, she had to disband those thoughts. Saydri was much kinder than Saint, and much gentler with her body. If anything, he was going to call someone....that was a phone in the coat pocket, right?

Or gum, she wasn't sure.

Her thoughts ran wild for a moment as she stood by the stove, water dripping off her body and hair when she felt his warmth again so close. Seri smiled, reaching for him instinctively and leaning against him to gather his warmth. She should feel guilty for not trusting him, but it was such a fleeting thought there was no reason to dwell on it.

The leather coat was once more around her shoulders, and Seri shook her head, looking up at him with red, tired eyes. "N-no....it'll be-...ruined..." He didn't seem to care about his leather jacket. It was real, she could smell real leather a mile away. Nothing quite beat that scent, and on a man it was very very nice. "I'll-...make sandwiches....f-faster and we can-...eat in my room with a m-...movie...?"

As her face leaned against his chest, she felt a little flutter in her chest when she asked the question. If he accepted her invitation to her room, he'd see what it was an perhaps get the wrong idea. Maybe it wasn't so good of a plan, but she had already asked...

Darn it.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri wasn't put off by the fact that Seri moved closer to him again, leaning against him and soaking up his warmth once more. He paused with his hands still on the jacket when she shook her head, water droplets flying slightly with the movements. His own auburn strands were damp and clung to the back of his neck, though the emerald headband kept it out of his eyes.

Uncertain what she meant at first that it would be ruined. What would be ruined? He wondered curiously before he caught onto the fact she meant his jacket. "It won't...it is treated to handle it, though perhaps not the inside," he said thoughtfully as he slipped it off her shoulders again and pulled out his phone cautiously. He threw his jacket back over to the table where it landed and he replaced it with himself, arm curling around her.

As she looked up at him grey eyes softened slightly, she looked so tired.

He lightly brushed her hair as she settled her face against his chest, surprised that she had mentioned sandwiches when the pasta seemed half done. He was cautiously pressing a few buttons on the phone not wanting a repeat of the tap. He didn't want to waste food. "I like sandwiches and a movie seems...nice, but what of the pasta sauce?"

Staring at it silently. "I can't find the address book."

[1x1] Cuddles and Colds [Closed] - Angel Kimmi - 11-24-2014

<font color="199ce6]Seri was glad that he was not going to ruin his coat with the way there was so much water on her body. In a way, she felt glad he was willing to use it on her but at the same time content to just hold him as he held her. It was much warmer this way. She held her cheek to his chest, hands clasping behind his back and into his shirt while she thought about what he was saying.

True, there was sauce in the pan ready to be made into alfredo sauce and water could be made for the pasta, bu that would require a bit more time. The sauce was nearly done, and Seri wasn't in the mood anymore to eat. Somehow, she just felt like sleeping more and more as she leaned against Saydri.

The seconds turned into a minute, the minutes turned into much more and eventually her eyes were closed. Breathing steady. And hands falling limp to her side while her weight fell completely on Saydri.

With the right conditions, she could sleep nearly anywhere given how tired she was. And drained of any energy...

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was still trying to work out how to use his phone cautiously, he didn't want a repeat of what he did with the tap - but with his phone this time. He didn't want to leave the kitchen in such a mess, lest someone come down and slip over. In addition, the place was newly renovated.

Setrin could help easily with his fire...if he wasn't asleep.

He managed to find Setrin's phone number and was thinking about whether the phoenix would be sleeping - he was even more cranky if you woke him. Unbeknownst to him Seri was slipping away by the second and as the hands that gripped his shirt loosened, he felt her full weight as she fell asleep. Saydri's arms came around her automatically, one leg shifting behind him as he caught her against him.

Surprise flickered across his expression, and he blinked at the sleeping woman. Well...he had thought she looked tired but he hadn't thought she was that tired. Perhaps he should have just taken her up to her room earlier despite her talk of being hungry. It was then that his own stomach growled causing his cheeks to darken slightly and he almost dropped his phone. The metal slipping from his fingers and he had to bend over slightly to grab it before it hit the tiles.

Forgetting about Setrin he sighed and quietly he placed the phone on the bench in a fairly dry spot to the right of the stove and looked down at the sleeping woman in his arms. Carefully sweeping her into his arms he glanced between her and the food and the mess.

What to do...

He hated wasting food. Saydri moved over to the bench and put her onto it, leaning her carefully backwards so her back was propped against it before slipping between her legs. One of his hands settled on her side as he moved the pan back onto the stove and completed putting the final ingredients into it, moving carefully and keeping a close eye on the flames. He continued until the sauce was cooked through which only took a few minutes, his gaze focused and his movements precise.

His hand brushing Seri's hair back slightly before he reached up into the cupboard and got a container. Putting the pasta sauce into it before sealing it with the lid. Releasing the woman, making sure she didn't slip before moving quickly towards the fridge, putting it inside while being careful of the water over the floor.

He knew he should clean it up...

He put the pan into the sink that had emptied of water, being especially careful of the puddles of water there. Before moving back to the fridge and pulled out supplies and a cutting board and moved back between her legs. One hand moving back to her waist as he buttered the bread - plain chicken, others ham and salad, some of them salad alone. Mixes of lettuce and tomato and cheese, because he didn't know what she would and wouldn't eat and he was starving himself.

He made at least twelve sandwiches in a matter of minutes. Quick and efficient. Saydri put the sandwiches on a plate and then put the items away in the fridge before returning. Slipping his phone into his pocket and putting his jacket on before settling the plate of sandwiches onto Seri's lap, before picking her up, balancing them both. Saydri made his way out of the kitchen using his back to push open the door before heading across the empty room and up the stairs.

Saydri made his way towards Seri's room automatically, because it was the appropriate thing to do in addition to her earlier invitation. Stopping at the door he stared at the keypad blankly for a few minutes - he didn't know the code for her room before looking at her sleeping face.

He didn't really want to wake her up...

So he stood there silently staring at the door before finally turning away and heading down the hall towards his own room. Maneuvering down the hall until he reached the familiar door, shifting her slightly and lifting his leg to help support her while he pressed the keys on the keypad. Nudging the door open before moving her back into his arms properly, he headed inside before kicking the door closed behind him with a light bang.

...Time skip.

Time skip...

<font color="9ce619]Saydri had carried Seri into his bedroom the night before while she was pretty much unconscious. She hadn't even woken up through the process of stripping them both off prior to getting into bed. It seemed very logical to him. He couldn't very well leave her in alcohol drenched clothes. Though he had found that getting someone into a shirt while they were unconscious was difficult, but he'd succeeded in getting her into one of his t-shirts, a soft blue one.

Some time in the midst of sleeping Saydri had transformed unknowingly. So curled up around the young woman was not actually a man, but a large feline beneath the covers keeping her very warm with all that fur and body heat. His coat was black and in proper light darker black leopard markings would be seen across him, his tail was swishing ever so slightly as he nuzzled closer.

<font color="199ce6]Such a dream....

Seri had been having an unmemorable dream most of the night. Nothing eventful or worth thinking about. Not till suddenly she felt herself being drawn into the arms of a large black and white panda. He was soft and fluffy, warm and comforting against her skin. Arms pulled herself closer to the heat of the bear, wanting to take more of the gentle purr of his chest.

But too soon, much too soon, she felt the dream leaving her. Groaning in agitation at the sudden end, she tried to pull him back. But-...somehow, she felt the soft fur against her face as she nuzzled into him. The heat, the purring sounds and even more so, the cool blankets wrapped around them both. But it wasn't a large panda she held in her sleepy stupor, no.

It was a large panther. And this wasn't her room.

Cold eyes looked at the creature she held and for a moment she was so scared she felt a scream trapped in her throat. But it lasted only a moment. Maybe-....she was still in a dream. How could she not be? Not like panthers would just get into bed with her. Sighing at that idea, she nuzzled deeper into the neck of the large cat and hummed softly.

"Hmmmnn~.....better than a panda.....just a little...." she spoke to herself calmly with a sleepy slur to her words.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was asleep though he came back to some semblance of lucidness when he realised that someone was snuggling close. His face crinkled slightly in what would have been a frown if he'd been human. Not wanting to wake up, ears pricked automatically as he tried to work out what the soft thing was that was burrowing closer. The same one he'd been pressing against.

It was then that he remembered he'd brought Seri to bed with him.

He was drawn from the depths of sleep by that thought. Almost absently he waited for the inevitable. He heart the quickening of her heart when she realized he was there, his ears flicking slightly. But then Seri snuggled back into him and a quiet rumble came from him as he settled close against her. His tail once more flicking gently back and forth as he laid there with her.

Silvery-gray eyes opened at her words and he blinked lazily in the dim light of his room before glancing at the girl. His rumble was broken slightly as he chuffed softly. As close to laughter as a feline could manage, not that a real one would know what laughter was.

He snuffed quietly at her pale strands before the soft purr resumed. Perhaps she wasn't afraid of him, that was a curious thought. Sometimes he just reverted back to this form without conscious thought, it didn't happen always but when he did he had little control. It had caused a few screams here and there over the years.

<font color="199ce6]The trouble with waking up earlier than usual was the impossibility to go back to sleep. Even now, eyes closed and breathing steady as if she were asleep she wasn't. More awake than not, Seri groaned as if in pain and whimpered. In a way, it seemed like she was on the verge of tears. She was.

Mornings were not her friend. She hated them. Hated the sun and what it meant. Hated the god of the sun and all his siblings, and yet even more she hated being woken up sooner than she wanted to. One good thing of this day was the sun was blotted out by heavy clouds and lots of rain. Ahhh~....rain. It was so nice, made the dirt and the whole earth smell good. Even now, she could get a whiff of the rain.

No...that wasn't from outside. It was the fuzzy thing she snuggled with. The purring, the flicking tail and the chuffing. It wasn't a dream, but real.

Slowly, her eyes opened and she saw the black fur. She felt it. It tickled her nose and face, warmed her body and all around was comforting. he creature was filled with a scent she knew by now. Someone who was always kind and caring, careful and so large he put Saint to shame.

"Saydri....?" she called out softly, pulling back just enough as her hair bunched under her head. Even now, it felt like a cool blanket along her back. Looking into the face of the animal, she tried to focus. "....Good morning, little panther...." smiling at her new friend - Saydri or not - she rubbed her nose on his and then pressed her forehead against the felines neck to get comfortable again.

<font color="9ce619]The grey eyes slid closed again. Saydri wasn’t exactly what most would call a morning person either, but one of the perks of being a large feline was that it was easy for him to drift back off to sleep with the right incentive. Warmth and snuggles were excellent incentives for continuing to sleep as he felt the familiar lazy desire for catnaps, to just lay there unmoving.

Until he heard the quiet groans and whimpers.

The eyes opened once more at the sounds that came from her. Inquisitive silvery-grey eyes looked at her once more as he raised his head slightly so he could look at her. Tail swishing but this time in aggravation, uncertain as to why she was whimpering.

Had he hurt her?

His unease was put to rest when she called out his name and he rumbled softly, a loud purr in his chest as she smiled at him. Saydri lowered his head once more so that he would be adequately placed for the small nose to rub against his own. He rubbed his cheek against hers, his eyes glimmering with mild amusement and pleasure as she settled back against him.

Such a strange girl… no screams or sudden shrieks. Of course, he’d known she was different, he thought with a quiet purr. Nuzzling his head against her in enjoyment at the way she curled up against him, licking softly at her cheek and neck with his raspy tongue.

<font color="199ce6]The soft rumble of the panther put her mind completely at ease as she realized that the large cat she held was Saydri. Her question as to his name was replied, and - perhaps more so his scent - was all she needed to know it was a friendly companion she shared a bed with. Warm, soft and that rumble in his chest that sent pleasant chills down Seri's back all felt like he was cocooning her in an embrace, yet without arms or hands to do so.

"....It's too early to be awake....yet I can't sleep anymore...." Seri whimpered against Saydri's neck while he licked her. It felt weird, rough and dry yet something calming about it. Still, she was awake now and couldn't lay in bed all night. She felt her hair was dry and sticky from the beer being tossed at her and even more so along her skin. Yet...she did not have closes on.

That is, she wasn't wearing the clothes she had on last night. Had he changed her? It was the only real option, considering no one else seemed to be in the room. She would have to play back the moment she fell into that darkness that led to sleep to before she woke up later. Just to be sure, but for now she would take comfort in the fact that she was warm.

Her hands moved from his fur to the shirt she wore. It was buttoned up and went almost to her knees. She had her lacey panties still on, so she did not concern herself that anything was done to her. She'd feel it, if he had. And Saydri was not the type.

Much to soft, far too kind.

Satisfied, Seri seemed to echo his sounds - the purring, the chuffing and soft growls - before rolling over so her back was against him. It seemed like she was trying to feel his warmth all over.

[1x1] Cuddles and Colds [Closed] - Angel Kimmi - 11-24-2014

<font color="9ce619]Saydri could only quietly agree with her speculation. He quietly purred in agreement. It was indeed far too early at his own reasoning to be awake when the bed was so comfortable and warm. In addition to the fact they had retired to bed so late. Seri also, was warm and soft, overall moving seemed like a less enjoyable idea when he compared the options silently.

Of course he’d need to move – eventually, but that didn’t mean now.

He understood she couldn’t sleep, though with the gentle nuzzling and purring he tried to tempt her into trying to sleep once more. Once she rolled over he stretched out leisurely behind her before snuggling closer. He gently nudged and nuzzled against her back with his big head, making a soft rumbling purr while liking the soft sounds she made in return.

Getting up would involve having to move and change back. Something he should already be doing or have done once he realised he was a panther with Seri in his bed. He probably would have, if not for laziness…he often felt a feline laziness when he was warm and content in this form. It was hard to ignore when he didn't actually need to get up.

I should get up. Saydri tried to convince himself silently that he should move and transform. Have a shower or something more human, or actually feed her. That was a good point. She’d never eaten the night before she passed out.

<font color="199ce6]Seri let her legs curl up against her, feeling the soft sheets and blanket around her while the warmth of her large feline friend kept her warm. Like this, she could open her eyes slowly, taking in the light a sliver at a time before they blinked into the darkness. Did he have black-out curtains, too?

Oh thank Opera for the little miracles.

Smiling to herself, she felt her friend give a nice long stretch in which she followed suit. Arms and legs cracked with the strain, elbows and knees locked into place and all the while more and more seemed to come undone only to set back into place. Like a rubber band, she extended her body along with the large cat and then fell back into herself with a soft, yet long groan in pleasure.

Nothing felt better than a good stretch.

Settling back into the bed, she let time pass before she softly spoke to her friend. "....Saydri....can you-....return to a man....? If it isn't too troublesome...." slowly, she turned over onto her back to look at the feline, his head against her chest so she could curl a little more into him, hands playing at his ears and scratching along his neck. Seri would never say it aloud, much less think on it too much, but she always wished for a feline companion....

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was mildly amused at the sight of Seri stretching out much as he did. As she turned over and curled against him, inquisitive eyes focused on her until the hands settled into his fur. His cheek settled against her chest, silvery-grey eyes closing as he rumbled loudly in pleasure at the petting.

He knew he should change back - was in the middle of having the very same conversation with himself when she asked him. Of course he could turn back, he spent the majority of his time in that form after all. Saydri didn’t understand why she would think that it would be troublesome? Still her actions muddled his thoughts somewhat, his head angled into her hand at first with the pleasure in the forefront of his mind.

Until he shook his head slightly and lifted it from her chest, trying to bring himself back from the distraction so that he could concentrate. He didn’t want to get stuck. It was not something he usually did in front of other people, but the shift wasn’t a lengthy process, it took all of five to ten minutes and while it sounded somewhat painful it wasn’t especially. Some bits were mildly painful, while other bits his body thought it should be painful even when it wasn't. The lack of pain and his body's response was likely due to acclimatization.

Eyes slid closed, and he concentrated on the shift. Of becoming his other self. It felt like heat pooled in his body, drowning out his sensations in a sense as his body protected him. There was a sense of shifting and altering as his body lengthened, his form was almost as long as a human was tall but not quite. He became larger, adjusting for his normal six foot 4 frame mostly his torso and legs lengthening, with the cracking noises as bones broke and muscles shifted and changed. Reshaped to adjust for it as well as the new placement of his arms and legs. Meanwhile his organs were adjusting and shifting, changing shape and placement within his body.

His breathing was constant, a constant in and out that helped him with the fixated image in his head, though there were occasional soft rumbles and growls as some of the changes caused fleeting flashes of pain. Or instinct told him that they should hurt, even when they didn’t.

Shoulders broadening as the muscle placement changed and he got more muscle definition in his chest and limbs. Hips and other bones cracked and snapped, reforming so that his body was now set up for him to be walking on two feet instead of four. His paws shifted and lengthened into fingers and toes, still with sharper nails which curled into his palms.

[1x1] Cuddles and Colds [Closed] - Angel Kimmi - 11-24-2014

<font color="199ce6]Seri watched the way he enjoyed her hands in his fur. The way he relished the feeling of them and still found it possible to think of the man from last night as the large cat. The weight of his head on her chest was both a comforting weight as well as restrictive. Like this, she couldn't rightly move very far easily without harming her friend in some way. And yet-....

And yet, she didn't want to move. She didn't want him to move, but she had already asked and he was already in mid transformation. Her hands moved to her side to help push her off the bed and sit up a little. She lay on her side, one hand playing along the frills of her mint green lace under things while the other was tucked under her hear for support while she watched.

Seri kept her expression blank, intent on waiting for him to be finished so as not to cause him any distractions. Not like it would bother him if he did - s she thought, since the same applied to her - but it was always better to be safe than sorry.

Limbs became arms and legs, paws became feet and hands and the chest toned out. Slowly, he was becoming more recognizable and her sliver of fear he was not Saydri drifted away. She had touched that body of his, nuzzled into it and was pressed against it. She knew the large cat was her friend.

A hand came out to rest on his now fur-less hip, resting there while the rest of him continued to change. Her thumb stroked his flesh, and she wanted to pull herself into him again, yet waited like a proper friend till he was completely changed back.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was unaware of Seri’s thoughts or her movements other than a slight shifting in the bedding beneath him. His eyes however remained closed as he concentrated on the shift that was still occurring. Changes that continued inside and out as things shifted and changed, some of them audible while others were silent like liquid shifting and reforming.

His face shifted but more minutely than the rest of him. The shape of his mouth shifting and the whiskers disappearing, followed soon by the shifting of the shape of his nose. His jaw shifting as his fur turned auburn, the same colour as his hair before it slowly receded leaving skin the natural tanned pigment. The fur remained on his ears and tail that had yet to disappear.

Eye shape appearing too large in the mostly human body, opened suddenly at the brush of a hand against his still sensitized skin. He had jerked slightly not expecting the touch. As the thumb stroked across his hip bone silvery-grey eyes watched her, his ears automatically twitching within the auburn strands though he settled further.

Making a soft rumbling purr within his mixed form before his claws and teeth changed back to a more human appearance. The change was almost complete now and the majority of the cracking and other noises had ceased. Saydri's tail drawing back into his tailbone as his ears shifted further down on his skull towards the normal placement of human ears though they were still cat ears.

<font color="199ce6]Seri slowly began to see the face of her friend. She couldn't help but smile and lean over to tap her nose against his and then place a kiss to his forehead. Somehow, seeing him with the ears and tail of the large cat was much too adorable to pass up. If she had her camera, she would have taken pictures of him like that for future memories.

Mainly, for herself since she was not apart of any social media sites. Well, aside from twitter and the feed she'd get for movies, specific food trucks and weather. but that was for obvious reasons.

She felt the way he jolted from her touch, and thought he didn't push her away or get angry over it, she had a feeling there was more reason to it than surprise. Seri blinked a few times and moved her hand up higher on his side, lightly grazing her nails along his body to rest her fingers against the middle of his chest. She felt for his heart beat and his breathing, searched for his feelings all the while refraining from curling back against him for warmth.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri wasn’t entirely unaware of the fact that certain circles found the ears and tails adorable. Saint had thankfully not been around at any time he shifted in order to see, but he had seen him occasionally curled up as a panther and had made comments that he’d make a cute ‘cat boy’.

Maybe at some point he'd check the internet...thing...

He blinked at her in surprise as she tapped her nose against his and then there was a sudden kiss to his forehead. He didn’t mind, he just wasn’t entirely expecting it. He made a soft purr in response and gently rubbed his nose against hers in response as he gazed into her blue eyes.

His body temperature was still higher than that of a mortal, though that wasn’t abnormal for him even after the shift was finished. Ears changing back to human and the tail disappearing. Saydri’s breath hissed between his teeth and he squirmed as nails and fingertips slid over his sides. His skin was overly sensitive, ticklish almost. Stilling as the hand settled on his chest, his heartbeat however was a little quicker than normal though it was slowing.

“Good morning,” he said quietly and a small smile appeared on his lips.

<font color="199ce6]She was never one for pretenses or falsehoods. Seri didn't like to be touched - generally speaking - unless it was with someone she was familiar with. Saydri was a friend. A very very new friend, but he was comfort. Something about this very large cat-man soothed her body and mind. Kept her creature quiet and made her want to curl up and sleep in his lap like a kitten.

As it was, if she did there was no doubt that she would indeed fit in his lap. He was that large and she was that small in comparison.

Still, the pair nuzzled and snuggled against each other as if the other were cat nip all the while Seri felt his heart beat. The rhythm told her the pain he was in from the transformation and the goose bumps highlighted the fact that touching him now was very worth while.

Here, she smiled back and moved her body closer to his, nuzzling one leg between his just at the knee and tucking her head under his chin. "Good Morning, iat? ?iiciu...." there was a moments pause and then both her hand were at his sides. Softly, with the pads of her fingers and carefully so as not to scratch him, she attempted to see if he was ticklish as she was hoping.

Though her smile was soft, she giggled a little as she watched his reaction

<font color="9ce619]Saydri was blissfully content and rumbled slightly despite no longer being in his feline form. The fact that she was playfully and willingly nuzzling and snuggling back with him was a comforting response for him amid previous rejection. Not everyone, but some. Though the most surprising acceptance was Setrin, who expected a ‘bird’ in essence to get along with a ‘feline’.

He found the young woman interesting. For one thing, she didn’t seem to find issue with his unusual traits – like turning into a panther for a start. In addition to that she was soft and he enjoyed her scent, but more than that her company was soothing and without any awkwardness that was common with his less than talkative nature. Some people found his size and quietness disturbing…or so he’d been told time and again.

Or at least Seri hadn’t made it known she had an issue with it as of yet.

Despite his lack of communication verbally, his body language wasn’t usually too difficult to read. He could be solitary at times but for the most part he was considerate and kind. He enjoyed company, contact and simple things like sleeping in late, cuddling or lazing in front of the fire.

His heartbeat was slowing, at least to a more normal rate after the change. As much as it normal when he was in close proximity to a female. His legs automatically shifted to make way for hers as it slipped between them. Saydri was wearing nothing beneath the covers, he’d learned sleeping in clothing meant that he went through a lot of clothes with the unexpected transformations.

Still his smile widened slightly as she tucked her head under his chin, though he was momentarily puzzled by her words. His arms coming around her to slide through the silken strands “I..at..zii…chu…what does that--?” He paused mid question, grey eyes wide as he jerked slightly as the fingers slid along his sides, he made a startled yelp and squirmed.

"S-seri...s-stop..." he said with a chuckle.

<font color="199ce6]Once her leg had moved between his, she realized that he had nothing on to cover his more private parts. She had on a overly large but soft blue shirt and her mint green panties, yet he wore nothing. Seri felt a little wave of embarrassment and tried not to fluster at the thought of laying in bed with a naked man, but it was a little more difficult than one would think.

Her cheeks flustered a little and her eyes seemed to shift and swirl, yet her composure didn't falter. Like this, she remained as she was and continued to slowly dabble her fingers along his side.

The reaction he gave her was hardly incentive to get her to stop. It had the opposite effect. Instead, she began to use both hands to tickle him. A much more enthusiastic thrill on her smiling lips and a flash of joy in her eyes. Seri began to giggle as she sat up onto her knees over him, both hands moving along his stomach and ribs to tickle and poke at his sensitive skin.

"That was not very convincing, i'm afraid."

<font color="9ce619] Saydri saw the flush of pink on her cheeks though didn’t catch onto the reason why she was blushing. He was glad to see her smiling in one part of his mind, recognising that rarely did he see a proper smile on Seri. Or hear the soft giggles that came from her. Still he wasn’t able to concentrate on much of anything. Fragments of thoughts. He was too busy trying to get away from the torturous fingers that were teasing over his bare skin.

Grey eyes widened further as she moved over his stomach and ribs. He continued to shift his body this way and that. Attempting to avoid the digits unsuccessfully. He wasn’t usually so ticklish…or at least he didn’t think so – he couldn’t remember the last time anyone had tried.

He chuckled softly and one of his hands shifted upwards trying to catch her wrist as he rocked to the side. His eyes glimmered softly as he shifted forward then trying to knock her backwards, to catch her unaware. Whether she landed on her back or merely was pressed back slightly he then leaned forward and licked her nose lightly and teasingly.

His free hand moving then to the side, slipping under the long shirt she wore he teasingly skimmed over her side and across her stomach. Testing her response to his attempt to tickle her back.

<font color="199ce6]The way he moved and twisted away from her only egged her on to keep going, to tickle more of him and her that restrained laughter. Her creature inside chuffed and growled, too tired to be awake just yet but was aware of what his little mistress was doing to another man. Shape-sifter or not. Still, it was getting rather on the loud side for his own liking.

She giggled even more as he rocked this way and that, trying to get away unsuccessfully. All the more her hands roamed around his chest, stomach, ribs and sides, poking and teasing as she found what made him jump. Laugh the loudest. And wiggle all the more.

Not till he licked her nose, grasped her wrist and pushed her down to the side did she realize that perhaps her game had led to something else entirely. He used his body to knock her over, her back pressed to the soft bedding and then a hand under her shirt to tickle her sides.

Seri did not giggle from the feeling of his hands along her, it didn't make her insides flutter as one might think when being tickled, but they fluttered from the skin on skin caress. Gasping, her hands moved up to his shoulders and held there, pressing against him to keep him still. The warmth of his hands along her body was intoxicating, his scent had her focused on just him where as his hands along her skin brought her mind to something entirely carnal.

It had been far too long since she last lay with a man. And now, as she lay with a perfect example of a man, bare under the blankets and his hand up her shirt, she found her heart beating strongly against her chest. It hurt and felt good all at once. The tension, the anticipation.

Once more, her cheeks were bright red. "S-saydri....A-aahhh-...uhm..." she gasped when his fingers grazed along the underside of her ribs, his large hands very close to her breast and yet not nearly close enough.

<font color="9ce619]Saydri liked the sound of her laughter, it was sweet but the tickling led him to taking control to evade those fingers. Seri was a little imp it seemed. Cheeky and impulsive. Not something he had really gotten to see previously in their work environment, but it was something that made him smile even as the laughter slipped away after he stilled those fingers.

He wasn’t exactly aware of the impression he was giving, when he pinned her hands and body with his own. Of what his choice of actions inferred that this was going to lead to. It had just seemed the simplest way to get her to stop tormenting him, and it was comfortable nestled against her.

Saydri enjoyed the sensation of warm skin, and soft curves against his own through the fabric of her clothes. He tilted his head slightly, cheek brushing against hers as digits skimmed over her skin and fabric. He heard the quickening of her heart and he tiled his head, curious why she wasn’t giggling. Maybe he was doing it wrong? She was going red though.

Unexpected responses made his fingers still slightly, splayed over her smooth skin. She smelt nice even after their water incident, the scent of rain and flowers with the faint scent of him mixed in. Whether from the shirt or from them sleeping together he wasn’t sure. He shifted slightly, auburn strands falling freely over his shoulders and around them as his nose brushed against hers, their lips close as he gazed down at her.

“Mm…Seri…” his voice was quiet as his fingers smoothed silently over pale skin, skimming over her stomach and ribs. His thumb grazing the underside of a breast as he gazed down at her. “You’re not laughing…”

<font color="199ce6]Seri remained still. Her body reacted against the feeling of Saydri against her. His hip pressed against her own, chest holding her still and his breath along her neck and ears. It tickled and sent shivers along her body, goose bumps and fluttering feelings. Much like when he had first touched her the night before, lifted her easily and set her down on the bar. In a way, she liked that feeling of weightlessness and at the same time didn't like the insinuation that she was to be handled without question.

More so the weightlessness.

But this was entirely different. The heat coming off his body seemed to scorch her body where he touched. Her cheek sent fire to to her face and neck, traveled to her heart to beat faster and all the way down to her toes. That curled and flexed like one would to their fists in anticipation.

Those fingers along her body under her shirt worked another gasping moan from her lips, restrained to keep from sounding needy. But all it did was come out like a squeak. He moved again atop her, bringing his face closer to her own and leaning down as if to kiss her. Eyes went wide as she stared at him. Vision blurred a little as she tried not to stare cross eyed at him and ended up closing them once his nose touched her's.

Then, he spoke her name. Seri released a breath she didn't know she had been holding, releasing a whimper as one of his fingers touched along the underside of her left breast, along the tattoo there. "N-nno~....i'm not because it-....doesn't ti-...ah-!! Saydriii~" her voice softly cooed his name, instantly regretting calling his name the way she had and yet enjoying the feeling of being touched.

Even should he stop there, it would still feel nice to be in someone's arms.

<img style="avatar" src="http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/Kim_Irvine/sidebar-1.png" style="max-width:35%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]<span>    </span><font color="9ce619] Saydri was enjoying their morning playfulness. It had been some time since he’d had the opportunity for such natural playful interaction with another person, and she had yet to seem uneasy in his presence despite the lack of ‘normality’ their morning had consisted of thus far. Setrin was perhaps the closest friend he had and he doubted the other would be too keen on this kind of interaction…even the Phoenix would probably get ruffled at finding a feline in his bed.

<span>    </span> His hearing perked up slightly at the release of breath that escaped her as their noses remained touching gently. Perhaps he should stop touching her. It seemed to be distracting her and her ability to talk, much as he had found it difficult amidst Seri’s tickling. Auburn strands fell around his face and over the fabric of the sheets from his position, calloused fingers splayed over soft skin had ceased moving.

<span>    </span> There was no ulterior motives in his actions. Mild confusion glimmered in the silver eyes, still unsure of the cause for the increase of her breathing and the ceasing of her laughter. Perhaps he was invading her personal space. Was that the reason that her hands clutched at his shoulders so tightly? Or was she cold? She appeared to be shivering though she had not seemed to mind the cold the night before…

<span>    </span> Silver eyes noticed the reddish hue that suffused her skin with confusion. Was Seri sick from last night?

<span>    </span> Still there was something in her scent alerted him to her arousal in combination to the breathy way she said his name, causing his awareness of her to spike. A part of him becoming further aware of their position in addition to his own nudity and he stilled further.

<span>    </span> Uncertainty appearing in his eyes as he tried to decide on whether Seri was sick or she thought he was trying to seduce her. Was he trying to seduce her? Not intentionally he didn't think. Still the shifter gazed at her quietly before shifting his head, his cheek rubbing against hers before resting his forehead against hers in an attempt to test if she had a fever.

The more she thought about their situation, the more her body grew hot. It had been ages since Seri was last with someone beyond just a touch. And even longer since she last felt the need to be with someone. But Saydri was different. Comfortable and strange, the shifter didn't seem to be bothered by their game. In fact, he seemed to enjoy the attentions. Maybe not in the same way as she did. A caress. Gentle nudge. Soft stroke. Perhaps it was just her that had these feelings.

Her eyes slowly closed the longer he remained atop her. Their noses touching and his hair tickling the side of her head and ears while he loomed ever so close. His scent filled her lungs. Leather, grass and rain. Soothing despite their playful morning. Her heart was forced to slow down, the exhilaration from his rough hands on her skin was also pushed to the back of her mind. Not forgotten, but ignored for as long as possible. It was becoming more apparent - at least to her - that she wanted more from the feline.

Seri swallowed the dryness in her throat as she felt Saydri freeze. And then something stilled even more. There was never a time she could currently recall where she wanted to freeze the world and remove herself from her predicament. This was one of those times.

<font color="#3bb6fc]"S-Saydri, uh-..." she began, but paused once more when he moved to nuzzle into her cheek and rest his forehead against hers. His neck and lips even more so tempting her to just lift herself up a little and touch him. But that burning in her body didn't seem to go away, making her feel tired and weak.

Breathing in deeply, a raspy cough sipped from her lips. Barely contained when her head moved to the side to avoid coughing directly into his face. Cheeks and neck still red, Seri gave a little huff and opened her eyes to gaze into the grey confused eyes of her companion. She carefully turned her head back to look up at him. Small hands smoothed over his broad shoulders and down powerful arms to slip under and settle on his waist. The un-asked question hung in the air as she stilled underneath Saydri.

<font color="#3bb6fc]"I'm okay. I think I should-...drink some water..." her voice was whispered against his lips as she gingerly moved under him, urging him to shift to the side so she could sit up. Also effectively pressing herself up against him and his bare body. Skin did not touch, but that didn't stop the flutter in her stomach.
