"The universe out beyond this tree covered spec of a rock is vast beyond imagination. More than anyone one person could ever hope to see even in an near infinite lifetime." He'd begin, thinking on what tell her. This was a conversation he could fill novels about, and to put it into context for someone like her to understand was a difficult challenge on it's own. Beyond that, he had the desire to ask even more of her with the added explanation of the primary city on Aman, but he bit his tongue. There would be time for further details, for him to gleam information on his own reconnaissance and discovery.
Once in the bedroom he'd start his exposition, before the two were even settled. As he'd learned the best way to get interest was a decent hook, after all. "Where to begin out of everything I have seen is no easy task, but I figure there is no better place than where I spent most of my early years. A giant blue marble out in the Sol System." Compared to this planet, his own was incomparable, not only in size, but in people, culture, and even in the make up of the land. Words alone could never describe a place such as visuals, but without any of his gadgets of the ship, they would have to suffice for now.
"<font color="d4a017]The environment there varies on the region you are in, from frigid winds, to dry baking heat, in some places you'd experience a full cycle of weather patterns. In the past there used to be dense jungle and forest growth across the land as is the case here, but as civilizations developed much of them were decimated for expansion of territory." Azreal would pass by Ashrun in his steps towards the bed, pulling her behind him as she'd done earlier. If she was excited to hear his tales, then so to was he to tell them.
His pauses were brief, if only to be certain of how he wished to phrase his descriptions. That and to finally settle onto the soft mattress of the bed. "<font color="d4a017]Instead of trees the people built buildings of metal and glass, towering up to the skies in massive, sprawling cities holding tens of thousands of them to live in. Anything one could think of could be found in these central hubs. Industrious individuals created business of all sorts to cater to the needs of the many. To support such a population much is mass produced. Textiles, food, technological development, grand factories and acres and acres of farmland to keep up with an ever crowding planet." Stretching his legs out, he placed a comfortable pillow beneath his head and let those eyes of fixate lazily onto the ceiling above. He'd expect Ashrun to take her place a position in either sitting or lying down next to him, which would make for what he was about to do all the better.
"<font color="d4a017]A species called humans are the majority on that planet, I would say they are not too dissimilar to how I appear." As he'd done with her not long after they first had met, Azreal would show off his abilities by shifting from one face to the next as if to show off how different Humans could appear. First would be another man, taller than himself with a dark, tanned tone to his skin, his silky black, cut short to his head, his features were square and rigid, every detail giving off a sense of one that could dominate. After that a woman, about the same height of Azreal but much slimmer in build, what had been a baggy area in his chest filled out, along with a flare of lengthy auburn locks spilling across the pillow. Elegance defined her appearance perhaps someone of note where he came from with her fair, porcelain skin, though in this attire it was hard to imagine as such.
Currently back to how Azreal originally appeared, he'd continue on. "<font color="d4a017]Recently, travelers from across the stars have migrated there. Today I'd say it's quite a melting pot of cultures not only of their own, but of distant worlds." The next forms might startle Ashrun, but she did want to see what existed out beyond her sight. His change this time would be more drastic, flesh would change hue to a light indigo in an almost translucent state. What clothes he had been wearing would fall in on themselves as his physique diminished in stature and gained in height. Were he standing on what were now two branching stalks of feet he'd likely be around ten feet. His limbs that were very much visible were so narrow that she could probably wrap her hands around them with ease. Essentially, he was sitting in the bed now, with his back rising up against the frame. Only now he'd look down upon her with an elongated, ovular face, lacking any distinguishing features including hair, just a set of opalescent orbs.
Then another grand alteration as he shrunk back down and expanded, not tearing through her brother's attire, but the fabric becoming tight against what was now dark red scales. A blunted head with reptilian features, also lacking in any hair now blinked it's strange yellow slits for eyes at Ashrun. Short and stalky, this was one of his more rugged forms to fight in. A lengthy tail awkwardly slid down one of the legs of his pants. All of these forms were only there for a few seconds once he finished shifting into them, and in the end came back to the face Ashrun knew Azreal as.
Like nothing had happened, he continued his story for her, this time about the strife his world had gone through, as her own had. "<font color="d4a017]In the past there used to be strict racial divides and class systems that kept the weak below the powerful; brutal wars across every continent killed millions. Even now here is still such segregation in some isolated regions, but most people are united as a whole, striving to better themselves and their peers. It is not a perfect society by far, but give it another thousand years and it just might be." A quiet sigh for the progress his people had made, yet still so much work that had to be done. Now he'd turn to her, on his side to stare directly at her in all of her strange beauty. He truly enjoyed letting her eat up his words, though for now he was perhaps at and end, at least for now. "<font color="d4a017]Brilliant minds eventually came up with the means to easily travel beyond their world, which is how my own exploration began centuries ago, and in essence, how I ended up here."
Winding down, Azreal resumed laying down on his back, his hands crossed over his chest. "<font color="d4a017]There is so much to tell you about my home, the oceans that stretch out beyond your sight, the government and politics that run the various civilizations, the various fashions that people have followed because of mass media, and the simpler times before long distance communication became so readily available. I think for tonight, I've said and shown enough." Cracking an awkward grin, he let out a loud yawn and rubbed at his golden eyes wearily.
