<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/Kg8kHEX.png" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]As she described what he considered a surprise, of course Azreal would accept it with open arms. Not that it was particularly well know, or even of importance, but he did have a bit of a sweet tooth. Holding back any further excitement, the man wouldn't give more than his usual nod in agreement before she hustled off to grab sealed bowl from the freezer. "<font color="d4a017]I'm sure it will be wonderful." With anticipation behind his eyes, Azreal patiently waited before she'd served not only himself, but placed scoops into her own bowl as well before taking a reasonable taste out of his treat. Considering how he viewed her earlier cooking fiasco had gone, it came as a mild shock at how perfect the flavors of the fruits melded together, as well as providing a nice refreshing quality after a hot meal. "<font color="d4a017]Like it? You did a fantastic job on this." After another bite Azreal looked across the table and must have had a soft look about him that most never were privy to.
Ashrun's description wouldn't put a single shred of optimism in his heart over this planet's people and how they would be of use to him. "<font color="d4a017]Looking as I do, I'd be able to step into the city then?" Azreal mused as she described the lifestyle the seemingly singular populace hub around. Savage is what it sounded like. Cannibalism, population control, segregation, an archaic caste system, nothing he wanted any part of down the road. The ancient shapeshifter would either escape this world, or see to it that it was torn to the ground and rebuilt; of course, he preferred the former option. Lost in his thoughts, Azreal was actually caught off guard as she ran slender digits through his golden strands. A typically stoic gaze went wide in a somewhat confused fashion, but as he had a spoonful of the sherbet in his mouth this left him unable to reply in any manner until she had already moved away. By then the moment had passed, and he could only continue on with his comments. "<font color="d4a017]Who is going to stop you though when you walk right into it with me? If they are not going to let you pass, why not just use your ability take the form of something I can bring inside?"
This was all on the assumption that Azreal could simply walk by whatever guarded entrance to their society based on his appearance alone. Such a plan was hardly certain, or foolproof, he was not so arrogant to believe it to be the case. Naturally he'd scout out the place before hand, and if such an attempt was impossible, than he could fly in from above instead. A multitude of forms were at his disposal, and nearly all of them surely would have a role to play in the future her on Aman.
Azreal finished his dessert at a slower pace than he had his own meal, and it allowed him to savor the treat all the better. The Valar mocked herself in her own abilities, even though she seemed proud of her preparation of the desert all the same. Certainly this had not been the first instance since he'd met her. When one spent their entire existence being stepped upon and turned away, he could understand why she felt and acted the way that she did. This time it was his turn to remove himself from his seat and stand towering over the sitting Ashrun. "<font color="d4a017]I only have you to go by for all of my experiences here so far. I'm putting much of my trust in you, as you are in me." As she'd done with him, Azreal wove his fingers through those long, dark locks of hers, briefly brushing the side of Ashrun's cheek with his thumb before pulling back. "<font color="d4a017]I would put you above anyone, from the outcasts that shun you, or the brutish upper class of the city."
Turning away the taller male made to wash his bowl as he'd seen her do with the plates from before. From this angle his face was hidden, for the better as a less than pleasant raise to his lips crept onto his features. "<font color="d4a017]If the people from the city will not willingly aid my cause, then I will just have to take what I need through other means." Vague he would keep his intentions as they were not fully fleshed out even in his head. Tomorrow would be a new dawn, there were rooms to explore, more stories to share, and perhaps he could check up on his ship. That in fact, was perhaps a priority above anything else. "<font color="d4a017]I have to say, I'm ready to lay down for sure, how about you?" Figuratively wiping that grim look off of his face, Azreal faced his partner as he leaned against the counter of the sink behind. He'd wait for Ashrun to make the next move to lead them to bed, or whatever she wished to do next.
