A man like himself was quite used to having his measurements taken considering the nature of his abilities put him in varied builds, and in extreme cases an entirely alternate race. Still, with how unnerved she had been earlier at him revealing his bare skin he was somewhat surprised how she reached her fingers into his waistline without the slightest trepidation.
Of course, the second he mentioned that he'd prefer to eat now and be measured later, she seemed to come to her senses and snap back from him with a start, her hands occupying them about her person; a trait he was keen to notice. "<font color="d4a017]Do what is most convenient for you, I'll be fine with however you adjust the clothing." As long as he wasn't running naked through the jungle, or stuffed inside his three piece suit, he could manage. In a twirl of dark locks she spun around to begin setting the table, which he took to finding a seat at while she danced about.
With how his "employment" panned out on a regular basis, Azreal either ate short meals in the less than comfortable confinement of a cramped hideout, or dined in the finest of establishments with the upper echelon of society. Quite the dichotomy, but with him always being on the move, and his grace in the company of a certain parties fluctuating at the single shot of a gun, he took what he could get when possible. To have this nice quiet dinner with Ashrun, well, he was more than happy for this occasion.
"<font color="d4a017]Stay longer?" Azreal repeated her question as if not understanding her meaning behind it, though in reality he gathered what she was getting at as an afterthought. Azreal was not above dropping a poor soul to the wayside once their usefulness to his needs were disproportionate. "<font color="d4a017]It would be preferable in my current situation to remain here with you for the duration of me being stranded on this planet." After a pause, Azreal would look down at his plate to collect a sizable bite of food onto his fork. "<font color="d4a017]If you would allow that, of course. It would surely be easier to teach you that way as well." Looking up at Ashrun, the shifter would give her one of those softer expressions he'd been handing out far too frequently in her presence; a rarity for most to see. What could he say about it? He found her companionship enjoyable and her spirit admirable. With the first taste of his cooking taken Azreal wouldn't complain, but certainly it was not his best work by any means.
At this point, the silver tongued gentleman didn't have a reason to contemplate on what his next course of action would be. All he had done since landing was worry about what he would do in the coming day, but at the moment Azreal had thought ad nauseum over 'what ifs' without a solid lead. In theory, tomorrow would begin to yield information, perhaps this facility would be a gold mine or not. Either way, with Ashrun's help he was better off than without, at least so far. In relative silence, he'd eat at a surprising pace which one could only assume was an impressive hunger. Surviving the emergency crash onto a foreign world had burned through his figurative reserves of energy, and from there on out without a true feeling of safety his adrenaline had never ceased coursing. Since stepping into the cool enclosure of the cave, he'd been steadily descending from his heightened sense of awareness.
Azreal was starving.
Despite his speed he kept up his manners to a degree. After all, he was no savage as some on this rock might be. That didn't stop him from finishing his serving and going in for seconds, which thankfully he had prepared more than enough to do so. By the time he'd even begin to slow down the would be stifling a yawn with the back of his hand. In different company Azreal would be chatting away idle topics to keep up the guise of interest, but he had simple needs to be met and would do so. That said, Azreal had hit a lull where he was content with his meal, but not impatient in getting to bed. A relatively unimportant thought came to Azreal as he set his utensils down. Leaning back in his chair slightly, he observed Ashrun across from him with a tired lull to his lids as the words left his lips. "<font color="d4a017]Appearances are misleading, so I find myself a bit curious in your age if you don't mind me asking." Life expectancy on this planet couldn't have been all too high he figured, nor did he figure the inhabitants of a supernatural lifespan as some varieties of shifters possessed. He could always be wrong though, and it wouldn't be the first time. Was it rude to ask a woman how old they were here? Cultural differences were hard to judge in such brief encounters.
