<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/Kg8kHEX.png" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]Ashrun returned from her venture as if possessing the foresight to time her arrival perfectly. With nothing left to plate, Azreal set the heated pan on the cool side of the stove, and the blade back to the cutting board. If she was impressed by this simple recipe that he threw together on the fly, then he had plenty to expose her apart from the universe beyond this small rock. "<font color="d4a017]It's better to cook for oneself than to order takeout every night." Chuckling he realized that she likely didn't understand the term like many of the references he dropped. Ashrun hovered far to close for him without more than a towel as a barrier, but her attention focused on the platter of food rather than his figure. He didn't take offense though, as he too was rather famished from the day's activities. Only briefly did he let their gazes meet before he stepped around her at the mention of the clothing she pulled for him to try on.
"<font color="d4a017]With a little practice, even you could manage a meal like this." Stepping away in a backward motion did he continue watching Ashrun, still not quite finished in his quip towards her considering how he'd seen her struggling to even slice a single vegetable. Azreal only poked fun at her because he cared, at least that was how he viewed things. "<font color="d4a017]All you have to do is place it into personal servings. I'll let you know how everything fits when I get back." Turning on his heels, Azreal wandered off the direction she had earlier to find the bedroom containing his new attire. The apartment complex had quite a few living arrangements beyond one individual's needs, several bedrooms, a sizable kitchen, and recreational spaces; a team of scientists, scholars, and/or travelers housed securely in an underground facility on a remote world.
For what purpose?
In the dimly lit room it took only moments for his eyes to adjust to the low lighting. Supernatural in every sense of the word, one only had to take a look at those outlandish oculars, not even taking into account his ability to shift in the blink of an eye. From smooth tile to the shaggy woven carpet he'd seem to glide along, letting the his damp towel fall behind him as he approached the bed. His companion had lain out a collection of tops and bottoms for him to pick and choose from, scrutinizing his options immediately considering the stark change in style he was accommodated himself with. Still, they were undoubtedly better suited for him to wear considering the environment up above so he certainly wouldn't turn his nose up at the offer given. Cooler colors were more of a match for him than the autumn hues., which is why he primarily wore black and only inlaid his gold trim into detail work on his suits.
Grabbing at a shirt, he tossed it over his blonde locks and took quick notice of the height difference in her brother to himself. Perhaps, he was a bit of a heavier build as well, considering how loose the fabric hung off of his form. Or rather, that was the design here as anything too snug would cling uncomfortably to one's skin. He'd chosen what was similar to a tunic of sorts, dark blue in dye at the chest and white in the long sleeves. Unsure, but not disregarding the option he set it aside while picking up a sleeveless pair and starting a pile for what he'd prefer to keep. Pants were a must in his view and he'd not bother with anything that didn't go down past his knees, though what he did try on he noticed that not only were they just too free in the waist, but rose too high at the hem; another note to let Ashrun know about. Boots were something he'd require considering the rough underbrush and terrain of the hills, that or get used to running around barefoot as Ashrun seemed to. He'd inquire for a pair later on, but for now he took what he assumed were his sleep clothes. Siding the black pajama bottoms over his hips, he was pleased that the elastic kept them from falling off of him as the pants all but were doing. The sage green top was akin in fitting as the other shirts had been. Certainly her sibling and himself were not of the same height or build, but for what it was worth it was close enough.
Azreal didn't have the patience to stand around testing each article, to put together several matching outfits. What he'd decied on would have to suffice for the time being, at least until his stomach wasn't eating away at itself; a figure of speech that he was sure Ashrun would be horrified at.
When she'd glimpse at him, thankfully for her Azreal would indeed have his such indecent qualities covered up, though he'd still be wearing that sly grin as if he knew what went through her thoughts when he played around with her feelings, intentionally or otherwise. "<font color="d4a017]Not quite a perfect fit, the bottoms will have to be pulled in a bit, preferable let out lengthwise, but other than that I can make do with what your brother left behind. Thank you again." As if he hadn't said those words enough at this point, but she truly had been an excellent host thus far. "<font color="d4a017]I'm ready to eat though, how about you?"
