<img style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;" src="http://i.imgur.com/Kg8kHEX.png" style="avatar]There were in fact no said clothes lain out for Azreal once he stepped out of the bathroom, steam billowing into the much cooler bedroom from the entrance. Honestly, it wasn't expected as she said she too would be washing up, and Azreal while he felt took at least a little while, had not burned the night away in his solitude. Not a man to idly sit around, especially in the buff, he'd begin a trek back through the way she'd led him initially in hopes of bumping into her. Preferably she'd not be as he was, barely covered and still somewhat damp from his bath, or else he just might not be able to help himself with the temptations. These were but fun fantasies to play with though, and he knew it.
Padding along with bare feet he made sure to keep one hand at his waist to hold the towel in position, it wasn't long before the scent of her cooking endeavor was caught by his senses. So that was what she was up to. A smile on his lips, he hoped to catch her off guard once more with his appearance. This time would be a touch more unintentional, considering she had removed whatever attire he could have worn and had yet to replace it. The situation would amuse him all the same, he had no doubt. What was essentially a long hallway from the sleeping quarters to the dining area.
With his companion now in sight, he could see her diligently settled behind a counter-top, preparing a meal of some sort for the two of them. While she was facing his direction, she had not peered up from her actions, giving Azreal a moment to admire a unique nightgown she had donned. Unlike before so much of her skin was revealed for his eyes to eat up. When the two were in bed he'd have to lay his hands on her if only briefly to see if she was as soft as she looked.
Either way, he continued his approach despite his daydreams, finding little humor in her attempts at cutting a single vegetable or the searing collection of diced ingredients smoking from the pan behind her. Oh my, how had she gotten by with these skills thus far? Still, he didn't grimace, only taking it as a challenge. In exactly what regards, he'd not say. "<font color="d4a017]Oh, I'm sure whatever you have in mind will suit my tastes just fine." A slight fib, but he wasn't about to insult his new friend's efforts. When she finally glanced upwards and dropped the blade in her grasp to go straight to her ear he couldn't help but crack that typical teasing grin.
There it was.
Ashrun spoke in a hurried manner about gathering a set of her brother's clothing for him to wear before escaping the room and delegating the meal to him for a spell. "<font color="d4a017]Don't worry, I think I'll be alright taking over from here." Ashrun was surprisingly quick when she wished to be, vanishing from his sight with the hem of her dress fluttering behind her. With a roll of his neck, he took up her spot behind the counter, knife in his grip and checking on the contents of the pan she'd taken off of the stove.
This could be salvaged he deducted. Finishing what she started, Azreal with little effort sliced up the vegetable into thin pieces, his precision with an edge was nothing to scoff at. Dumping the somewhat blackened mishmash of greens onto a serving platter, he placed what he'd chopped up into the pan and put it back over the fire. Searching the kitchen for other items to use brought mixed results. Other herbs and vegetables were taste tested one ones he found similar to more common known varieties were pulled over to the cutting board.
With what seemed like rice in a pot of boiling and a slab of meat also on the menu to be filleted, Azreal figured he could make an acceptable dinner for the pair. Not so much a seasoned chef by any means, but having enough practice in cooking for himself a time or two, Azreal felt confident enough to not screw over the dinner. Off putting as it was to be preparing all of this while practically stark naked, the shifter was far too old to let it bother him all that much. Having decided on a less than complicated dish, he'd plate the alien stir fry on the ovular platter he'd used earlier in what wouldn't seem visually impressive, but it couldn't taste all that terrible in his opinion. Now he just needed something to wear, or not, he'd adapt in either scenario.
