<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;]Kae was left paused where she had been held when Ventus pulled away, her eyes wide and her battered features covered in bruises and smeared blood. Some would argue the male had destroyed a valuable piece of art; a one of a kind creation. Her once pristine flesh was patchy, scraped and scratched, with welts adorning her exposed limbs. Her torso seemed to have taken the most damage, hand prints ingrained in her sides from where he had squeezed, paired with countless other marks and lesions. The Synthetic, despite this, continued to usher short breaths and attempt nothing else. Judging silently, blue oculars locked on Ventus', obviously shocked by his reactions. The woman was well beyond typical fear, but instead crossed the threshold bordering panic, which meant him pulling away was some evidence he hadn't gone insane.
Perhaps he was always insane, and she hadn't realized the extent of his mental illness previously. Kae's mistake had been trusting Ventus. Further, she made the mistake of thinking he could be rational, enjoyable company to keep. Controlling was one thing; humanity was constantly seeking to control her kind. Violence, though, was a human condition. Weakness. So where he now laced altered fingers through her bubblegum locks, she let her expression fall on obvious disappointment. Shamed to be anywhere near the mobster. His toss did nothing to change her bashed features, her figure coming to rest on her knees when she had stopped moving against the far wall. Kae made sure to drip blood on the carpeting here as well, her nose streaming with artificial vitae in unstopped cascades.
Ventus might as well have taken a pipe to Kae, so the fact she could even sit up on her own was a miracle. Though, it appeared that action was short lived as she leaned weakly against the wallpaper. Turning towards in, her forehead was met with the cool surface, and the Synthetic bled there, too. Everywhere in case he meant to forget what he had done. His disgust didn't matter to Kae, nor did his messages as they were passed through the air between their two opposing forms. A minuscule smile curled at the corner of Kae's lip momentarily where she propped herself facing away from Ventus. "Why, Mr. Astartes? What does it matter to you?" Licking blood off the surface of her teeth, she noted one of her front incisors felt loose, wiggling with the pressure she put forth.
Looking sidelong as the figure where he was newly dressed, the android shrugged her shoulders gently. "I can't help you." No apology was shared, nor did she expect she would ever find herself feeling genuinely sorry to or for Ventus. There were lines one could cross, and be suitable for redemption at a later point in time. Then there were actions and events that took place in which there was no means available to find common ground about. Kae had never been assaulted in such a manner before, and though her pain sensor wasn't active currently, it would time back on within the hour. She knew she would hurt. Beyond that, she knew she would hate Ventus for hurting her. Now he was just a child with cruel intentions and a quick temper. Then, he would be a monster. He would be everything she couldn't stand about humans.
"If you hurt me again, you will prolong my pain sensor's reactivation. So, at this point, I might prefer being recommissioned."
