Being alone had been a fine option; one without dictation. There was no enforcer to push her one way or the other, no expectations to meet, no threat outside of those remaining in the city proper. Her existence had been one in the shadows, coasting beneath the radar with a healthy dose of suspicion added to her otherwise free wandering. One couldn't expect to be truly free with a tracking chip and a serial number, but the best she could have with limited resources was what the Synthetic had managed to upkeep. Now, Ventus was encroaching on her comfort zone. Not necessarily including the demands he made in regards to her body, but his goals involving Kae staying in his home.
This place was foreign, regardless how lavish and extravagant the mansion was. She wasn't a stranger to this sort of lifestyle, but it had been many years since the last time she inhabited a home of this caliber, and part of the woman felt overwhelmed with the haste things had progressed. Hours prior, she was working a typical shift at the Veil, with her usual patrons ordering drinks and Marv grumbling quips about whatever woes he felt were worth sharing in the moment. That had been home to Kae. Now, straddling Ventus' waist with her parted thighs, the Synthetic was at a loss for words. She simply watched the male's features for a long moment, hoping this level of observation was enough to indicate she hadn't a clue what he intended to do. It wasn't naivety, but genuine confusion in the wake of cryptic commentary.
To be the puppet wasn't simple by any means.
His hands dragged and groped and clutched at her body, causing Kae's physique to tense in response. The game he played was cruel, his teasing attentions earning a small sigh from the woman as she did her best not to move any more than was absolutely necessary. Lips parted when his knuckles came to rest against her cheek, and perhaps her expression softened to one akin to acceptance, if only to sate what desire Ventus harbored for such a thing. Kae could only assume he wanted permission, otherwise she would already be face down in the mattress; she wasn't a fool. His arousal pressed through the fabric of his robe, and in turn, it was met with her moist folds parting against the distinct prodding. Kae didn't feel shame over how her reactions might have been taken, though silence would need to be broken in soft spoken response towards the male's latter message.
"Do you always wish to be vague?" His hold on her hips was overlooked for the moment as Kae peered over Ventus' optic implant, her lids narrowing slightly. "I don't like this game of yours, Mr. Astartes. You're not playing fairly." Of course, the woman was perched where she had been told to sit, and had the game really been such a disappointment, she could have gotten away. At least, she could have attempted to do so. That exposed skin was pristine, like new, but that didn't mean she was opposed to earning a healthy beating if it meant proving a point. Kae wasn't a slave, and if he meant to keep her locked away like one, she would end this deal of theirs without a thought given to her overall safety. Her memories were stored in the Tanzo cloud storage matrix; she could be salvaged in some sense.
Kae didn't want to be salvaged though. She was more than content with the being she was, and the body she had.
