<div style="text-align:center;]Zeloan
<div style="text-align:left;]The Zeloans are a humanoid species located across many worlds across the galaxy. Their humanoid frame is distinguished with lacking external nasal features, along with a general lack of hair amongst the populace. Their senses include the typical five senses, with a slightly underdeveloped sense of taste due to the nature of their environment.
A common trait among the members of the species is a lack of hair all over the body. This is brought out from the relative toxic nature of their homeworld and millennia of biological engineering within their own race to adjust to their changing world. It isn't rare to see females with a few patchy areas of hair, resembling baldness in humans. Two one-inch parallel slits are all what remains of the "nose" of a Zeloan, remnants of a past nasal structure can be seen on the skull of the Zeloan. Two flaps of skin on each side of the cranium cover the auditory glands, shielding the "ears" from the environment.
Zeloans on average are much taller, but have less muscle mass than humans. Their skeletal structure is calcium-based, with a fused ribcage protecting the vital organs. Compared to humans, Zeloans are much more "simplified" and easier to nurse back to health. A similar wound that would take a human three months to heal from would take a Zeloan only one month.
Birth-rates are dwindling, and after a six month gestation period, a female Zeloan will birth a single Zeloan newborn. Birth rates are generally 55% Male, 45% Female.
Zeloans are bipedal, with a pair of arms and legs.
Zeloans have four fingers on each hand, with opposable thumbs. Their feet have 3 separate toes, with the smaller two fused together to create one stronger toe for running.
Zeloan irises are often either black, red, or yellow.
Save for a few "treasured" bloodlines, hair is rare throughout the entire race.
The average Zeloan male lifespan is 46 years old, 115-120 years non-combat.
The average Zeloan female lifespan is 130-145 years old.
The average height for a male Zeloan is 6.5-7 feet tall.
The average height for a female Zeloan is 6-6.5 feet tall.
<div style="text-align:center;]<font size="2]Planet Cayanis
<div style="text-align:left;]Cayanis is a planet orbiting the star Adhafera in the Milky Way galaxy. Cayanis is the second planet in the system, and the only on capable of supporting life, albeit very loosely. The surface of Cayanis is marked with toxic marshes from thousands of years of waste and decay. Deserts are lifeless and the grey sands of the planet go on as far as the eye can see.
There are four major continents on Cayanis. Cena, Keor, Pitel, and Dvosha. The continents are split apart by two hemispheric oceans.
Pitel is the largest continent and has some of the last surviving ecosystems on the planet, along with Cayanis' capital city of Kharloan. Majority of the military is housed and trained in, or near Kharloan. The temperate climate of the continent allows for some farming, the primary crop being Tarsh Rice, a sturdy, and easy to grow plant, and the primary export of the planet.
Dvosha is the second largest continent, and marked for being covered in a continent-wide desert. The grey dunes of Dvosha are often used by the Zeloan military to train for the harsh climates they could face on other planets.
Keor is a small, but populated continent that is devoted to technological advancement, along with trying to fix their species. The city of Ghaskhe houses 20,000 residents all devoted to strengthening the military's firepower.
Cena is a continent in the northern arctic region. The military controls the continent, and there are many "black" regions that house testing facilities and prisons. The comings and goings of this continent are kept under a tight lid.

<div style="text-align:center;]<font size="2]History
In the galactic community, the Zeloans are often referred to as the "Fallen" race, due to their lack of diversity and collapse of their planet's ecosystem. After centuries of plague and other hardships brought on, the government began to enforce strict breeding standards and genetic enhancements to successfully eradicate all fatal diseases from the species. The cost of such an undertaking left the species without any biodiversity, and used up the resources of their planet in the process.
Long-regarded as a species of beauty, and having the self-adorned title of the "Guardian" race, the Zeloans quickly found themselves to be a dying people, desperately looking for a cure to bring back a fraction of their former glory. Their recorded history is kept secret in the royal vaults of Kharloan, this is widely believed to suppress information from their people on their past, but more importantly their fall. During the "Guardian" Era of the Zeloans, they were hailed as defenders of the innocent, wielders of good, respected by aggressors, and feared by evil. Numerous civilizations cite the Zeloans as their overseers, as those who brought them out of the darkness of barbaric society to that of stable, spacefaring societies.
It is common belief that depictions of Zeloans appear in the mythologies of the Pamus, Erenthals, Jannins, and even Humans.
The genetic decay of the Zeloans was the epoch from which the Guardian era ended, and the fall began. Colonies failed and died off in years the newer generations were not able to adapt to planets outside of a few worlds, populations declined at a rate akin to a cataclysm. From the Terran years of 1430 to 1810, the Zeloans looked, but more importantly behaved nothing like the once proud race that made their race the jewel of the galaxy.
This began a period known as the "The Reclaiming" views shifted from helping others, to regaining their former glory, and thus a warpath began to be emblazoned across the galaxy. Races were wiped clean from existence, planets destroyed, all while searching for a way to regain their former glory.
For centuries, no race, or alliance in the galaxy could not stop the Zeloan War machine, and despite the galactic oppression, the Zeloans created peace through fear.
When humanity entered the galactic stage, this all changed. In 2235, the Zeloan military conducted a covert operation to the planet Rosintha, to acquire the results of a project known as "THRONEGUARD". The operation ended up failing, and was perceived as a strike against the Terran Empire, leading to all-out war breaking out in the galaxy. The once proud "Guardian" race squared off against the newcomer Human race in a bloody conflict that still rages to this day.
For a people looking to regain so much, war was the last thing that they needed, and neither side is ready to give up until the last member of their species breathe their last.
