She walked the forgotten steps of dead empires, a goddess in the flesh. She had bore witness to the first flames rising from Olympus, and she had stalked Jaguar warriors though the dense foliage of the Amazon. From Kyoto to to Moscow, Boston to Buenes Aires, Chance had been trotting the globe in search of a darkness more profound than her own. As unfortunate as this search effort had been, there was always some sick game afoot involving the Fae monstrosity, twisted and changing like the labyrinthine channels of her native Hedge. Troy by fire, and Sodom by divine intervention, but somehow, a creature so malignant had been capable of gliding through the aeons without any regard for her safety. It was rarely in question.
So rarely, in fact, she didn't catch the first signs of trouble brewing. Pace eased when she was out of the rain, the cascading sheets of cold, miserable water doing a number on her designer wardrobe. Even if it barely managed to cover those sculpted curves, the dress ran her as much as a new midsize sedan. Lush lips pursed, luminous azure orbs settling on her figure as her hands ran along the fabric in hopes of salvaging what remained. Palms glided over the tone of her stomach, rough to tighten the slack and draw even more attention to a well endowed bust, though she was well aware of her own attractive qualities. It was the unseen additions that drove away the gifted, their true sight cutting through heavy supernatural Glamour to peer at what the abyss had done. Chance exuded darkness unseen on this plain of existence, and it lashed and howled like serpentine guard dogs even if no one else was aware.
Their masses slipped between her thighs, slithering protective around their host as the presence of a stranger brought up their guard. Long lashes batted lazily as her vision rose to meet the figure, even when he was so well trained to sneak this far undetected. Their eyes would meet, and cold steely irises spun maniacally within the frame of her lids, threatening to draw in whoever stared too long into their vortex appearance.

Chance had never seen whatever this creature was, which said quite a lot about just what sort of fairy tale he had crawled out of. There were trolls where she came from, within the bounds of the hedge, but they were not so compact, and their intentions rarely involved someone her size. This was wasn't too large to be humanoid, but he towered over the 6 foot tall Fae, and it made her gaze heavy when it narrowed. Blood on his maw made her wonder just where he had been haunting before stalking her through the metropolis; whose blood did he wear? Practically shrugging, the woman proceeded to give him the cold shoulder, once again turning to continue her trek through the drenched city, hips a sensual sashay of attitude while the abyssal choir of tendrils danced around her heels.
