[Kiuza D. Braza]
- Ocean Back Story - [WIP]
Not that these children would know it, but the Rikan found himself older than most of the companions he'd made, maybe even peaking at the eldest of the group. In those years growing up on his homeworld came an experienced intellect well suited for outwitting others and rapid-fire problem-solving. If he wasn't going to tear his opponent limb from limb, he needed to cripple them in other ways; using his hands for more than swinging a blade or firing a gun. There were less than fair business acquisitions he'd made in his earlier days using the planet's rather lax legal system with a mix of coercion and hidden but mentioned explosives. Kiuza had made more enemies than he'd been able to keep track of, but how he took care of them had always been worth putting to memory. He didn't find pleasure in drinking in a personal kill like many of his brethren, but it was taken out of necessity.
While he was not the only individual in his trade, he did think himself a step above the rest, and far more ruthless than most took from him as a glance. Not that Kiuza ever had a grandiose office, but in the beginning, he shared a business space in a run-down complex on the east side of Adrexis. Kiiuza more than needed to expand to fit his growing invoices, and for that, he required not so much space but solitude that the thin walls simply did not provide. Above him was a unique endeavor, an older couple, which by human standards meant easy pickings. As a Rikan though, one did not live to see their scales fade to grey without having the prowess and cunning to outlive a growing number that would want to see them put to the dirt. That said have the advantage of location beneath, and the element of surprise on his side, a string of sonic emitters going off while they slept more than destroyed their ear drums, which let him slip into the apartment and put them to rest where they lay. Realistically, better then than later when they came down to complain about the noise he was sure to make with his manufacturing.[/spoiler]
