NO. D: I just don't have time for everything, and do this primarily for fun, so tend to only take leads that really interest me. The reason I invented the NPCs is so that people could have characters to play with that I wouldn't be as picky with.

I'm looking for something very specific; a relatively short (relative is the operative word here; I can't really say how long it'll be, just that it has a limited scope) RP set in Valesport. The character in question is Ren, profile here, sample here (NSFW thread, some non-con, but mostly light in tone).

The window is for after she leaves the church in the morning. She'll be a young, fairly obviously lost girl (although she could also be easily taken for a boy), in nothing but an oversized hoodie (assuming it survives), covered in glitter, wandering the streets at 7am. I'm looking, ideally, for someone who would be unlikely to pry too deep or to be too terribly concerned about how she wound up like that. Maybe would be willing to help her out, but wouldn't try to follow her home or force her to go to a hospital or anything extra-nosy. (Since she needs to be alone by evening for Plot Reasons xD)

If you have an idea, I'd love to hear it; if by some miracle of god I get more than one offer, I guess I'll pick whichever one is funniest? But if someone has an interest in RPing with Ren, we'll work something out even if it's not this exact scenario.

I’m not seeking partners or players, per se. I’m always open to them and I almost never have too many. If you’re not sure, you can always ask.

Experience :: I’ve been, at the time of this post, RPing for almost twenty years. (I once thought it was—like—fifteen, but apparently I did the math wrong.) I started out in chat rooms when I was about twelve or fourteen, and off and on for a number of years have kept it up. Much of my gaming was spent in forum or forum-style sites like Gaia and Alonimi. It’s apt to say that I’ve been doing this a while. But that doesn’t mean I can't learn something new.

Timeline Between Posts :: My busy and not busy schedule varies. Sometimes I’m free as a bird—like when school is out of session. (I’m a university student online.) Sometimes it might be four months before I can post. But I do prefer to post at least once a week to once every two weeks. I will say that if it will be a while between posts, I will either make a public post about it in the forum, or, I will let you know in some other way like through PMs or messenger. I’d like to think I can and do post often, but I don’t always have that luxury.

Likes/Dislikes :: I’m a romantic, even in RP. I can’t help it. -shrugs- That’s not to say all of my characters have to have love with one character. Like, at all. But I don’t really do PWP. It has to have some kind of plot—growth over time. What I get out of RP smut is not because of the sex; it’s because of the build-up to that sex—and the feelings that come along with it, be they angst, anger, love, joy, humor, whatever.

I enjoy drama as much as I enjoy hijinks. I don’t enjoy rape though; at all. I’m also not into monster RP with chasing and victims. Oddly, I love tentacle porn, but just not in RP. For me it’s about the emotional journey. That’s what I get off on; that’s why it’s fun. There’s a piece of me in all of my characters; it’s an escape for me. And I just can’t get into monster porn stuff because that’s not my escape/get-off button. It’s awesome if you’re into it, but I’m not the gal to provide. ^,~ (I should also add that I don’t do furry stuff; werecreatures with a human form are fine, but two wolves fucking falls into monster sex stuff for me. Pretty vanilla, right?)

I love M/M romance, sex, and fluff. I also enjoy M/F whether I’m playing the male or the female. I don’t mind F/F, but I’m not as into it as the other stuff. Even so, with that being said, I’d love to do it if the story is compelling enough.

I like scifi settings and super hero stuff; my favorite is anything with a modern setting. I also enjoy metahuman stuff, vampires, werecreatures, and playing around with gender and sex. Trans, bi, queer, bi—all of it. If you need more than that, contact me.

My Play Style :: I can do both long or short posts, but quantity doesn’t always equal quality. Especially from me. Many of my characters tend to either be really sexually experienced, or mostly. Now I'm open to all sorts of RPs such as Romance, Action, Fantasy, Etc,. I haven't had much practice in the action one since I've mostly focused around Romances because they are my most favorite ones. I'd like to branch out a bit and create new worlds rather than use already created ones like manga's and shows but I am not opposed to them.

So far I have ventured into the skies and the lands were animal and human intermingle to create new lifeforms where magic rules and no one has simply one shape but two. Human and beast. Another world that I have touched is a wondrous world where creatures are the souls of the dead who hold little memory of past life's and humans of the now capture them and keep them as pets, destroying habitats and homes of these dearly departed to create towering cities of white buildings were the rich dwell. Moving onto another, diving into the waters of the ocean where many mysteries hide within the deep waters where none dare to travel. Within these waters dwell beautiful mermaids where they dance and swim within the rippling waters, castles and merpeople live in harmony without disruption and a simple romance blooms within the castle.

Those are just some of the worlds that me and my current partner have created and played many a time over. I like to make new worlds and stories where exciting things happen but also have slow parts where characters create lasting bonds that will hold them together though everything and anything.

Perhaps they are Forever trying to stop the other from dying or some terrible event happening. /OR/ That they are humans that previously were something else: angels, gods etc and were reborn and are trying to find each other or something. Up for plenty of discussion.

- Incubus: That something happened with an incubus, banishment or being sealed by some kind of monk, priest or priestess [up for discussion and RP]. Causing them to no longer be able to feed off energy the way they usually do. Either way they are getting weak and someone helps them out, leading them to find out they can still feed off HIM/HER and fun ensues there.]]>

BEING AN ASSHOLE, THAT'S WHAT

Anyway, as is probably obvious from my recent profile/fic posts, I'd really like to do something with Boudica. I don't know what, though?? Every time I have tried to do anything with her before it has ended in disappointment, so apparently I'm picky. Some characters work anywhere, some characters require Special Attention. You know how it is.

This post could theoretically be a pretty good hook, I think.

When I say I'm picky, I don't mean writing style or anything like that. It's more that some character dynamics are more interesting than others? Y'all know me, I'm always a slut for weird interpersonal character dynamics. Like... she's practically magically cursed to be super shy and easy to hurt and she gets drunk off sugar and can't feed herself. That is a recipe for Creative Sadism. Regular sadism need not apply. Slow burns and weird tension and awkwardness and testing boundaries.

I said slow burn, but just in case it might come up: dubious consent would be a maybe and noncon would be a no. Manipulative characters are better than aggressive/violent ones. yeah i have a type what of it wanna fight about it

Related: slow burn doesn't mean these characters are gonna be BFFs 4 lyfe. This thread can just be a brief and weird period in both their backstories. Your character will not be In A Committed Roleplay.

If you are interested in this weirdly specific bullshit, suggest a character! If you can point me at a ficlet or an RP you've already done with them, that would be rad, just because that is the best way to see how the character plays in action. You know? Sometimes you read a profile and you think it's gonna be one thing and then you read a story and you're like, "oh that's not what I was imagining". Then again, that might just be me and the weird ways I play characters.

Every time I have tried to do anything with her before it has ended in disappointment, so apparently I'm picky. Some characters work anywhere, some characters require Special Attention. You know how it is.

This post could theoretically be a pretty good hook, I think.

When I say I'm picky, I don't mean writing style or anything like that. It's more that some character dynamics are more interesting than others? Y'all know me, I'm always a slut for weird interpersonal character dynamics. Like... she's practically magically cursed to be super shy and easy to hurt and she gets drunk off sugar and can't feed herself. That is a recipe for Creative Sadism. Regular sadism need not apply. Slow burns and weird tension and awkwardness and testing boundaries.

I said slow burn, but just in case it might come up: dubious consent would be a maybe and noncon would be a no. Manipulative characters are better than aggressive/violent ones. yeah i have a type what of it wanna fight about it

Related: slow burn doesn't mean these characters are gonna be BFFs 4 lyfe. This thread can just be a brief and weird period in both their backstories. Your character will not be In A Committed Roleplay.

If you are interested in this weirdly specific bullshit, suggest a character! If you can point me at a ficlet or an RP you've already done with them, that would be rad, just because that is the best way to see how the character plays in action. You know? Sometimes you read a profile and you think it's gonna be one thing and then you read a story and you're like, "oh that's not what I was imagining". Then again, that might just be me and the weird ways I play characters.

These are men of lands of piping song and eternal summer, with much to sell, but do not mistake them for the tame merchants of Our Colonial Posessions. Ours is a world of new horizons.

With its phantom chased forevermore,

Look upward, traveler! See the homes of the merchant princes and two-penny Dukes, titles so new they smell of ink and venom and the blood that was shed. A new babel, where all men speak the same tongue and no two give it identical meaning. But I sense, my friend, that the pleasures of the courts are not meant for you- no bishops, queens, nor councilors do you crave.

And much of madness,
And more of sin,
And horror the soul of the plot.

Look down again, then. There are whores here; commercial product, mass-produced, with no better a smell than the slaughterhouses boast. And if the sluices that bring them forth are birthing mothers, well, so much the worse; does not blood cleanse, say the clergy? And does not fluid lust, salt and sweet, defile? Therefore so much cleaner the pig, than the babe, perhaps- although both find their share of blood, and both suckle as greedily, those few months before they find their employ.

The ephemeral bloom is sweetest, traveler, and these are girls who shall never be women, who trust and betray. The sailors pluck them ripe and bruise them; the strutting gentry, masked and cloaked, pluck them ripe or rotten, and eat them whole- not even bones remain, they say. Inquire of apothecaries if the latter is true. You recoil upon me! I am wounded, my friend, but glad indeed. You have no appetite for these things, and I applaud your character.

And over each quivering form,
The curtain, a funeral pall,
Comes down with the rush
Of a storm…

Here is the theater, where I play. Mirdath had it from the count, who would have burned it for a half-crown or a smile; but ah, that would have been a shame. The outside’s timbered and I’ll not deny, unaesthetic- there have been many wings, you see, many additions. The backstage always needs a bit more room. But step inside, do. Just for a moment, just to see- and the night’s coming on, you know. There are worse things than whores here.

Ah! Yes, it takes you like that, doesn’t it? A thousand seats if it’s one, all in rows like tombstones, and all crimson and gold and royal. The lion’s colors, and a little of old Rome- they knew a bit about theater there. A full house, near as makes no difference, and I’m not surprised. The play tonight is Greed, and it’s always popular.

Oh, you weren’t to know. This is the Theater of Ends, you see- every night a different one, bawdy and grand alike. We show the end of it all, or our dream thereof. It’s a bit of a joke, you see, a bit of a folly, and it keeps us in bread that people want to see the world come to ash and ruin from this vice or that.

And the angels,
All pallid and wan,
Uprising, unveiling, affirm…

Yes, good old Greed. It’s a splendid play- at the end, they tear poor old Croesus to bits and gobble him up. It’s not entirely allegory; you can’t eat gold, after all. Did you see what it says above the door? Essurio, yes. It means hungry, if you’re posh. I, but a humble procurer, crave only custom.

I’ve seen what you’ve been looking at, though. It’s not the poor little freckled trulls whom you pity so, nor the tin-penny nobles you twist your face at. You watch the pimps and their purses, and oh how you hate those high houses, that you ought to own. Greed. Essurio.

What do you hate most in yourself, traveler? Stay, and we’ll salve it. There’s a private party, for the hungry, down below, upon the theme of the play. Stay a while. Eat gold for a night, and spend yourself on all the things it can buy, with the great and good at your feet. We will carry it for you, that stone in your heart. Gold is so, so heavy.

The problem is I'm not sure how to make it work without it eventually becoming too boring. It doesn't have to be 1x1, it could be group if people are interested. It doesn't have to have romance or sex, although It would be nice. ;) I'm just open to suggestions. I'm not one to run an RP, so help would be required. It doesn't have to strictly be historical, I would prefer that women can be/do whatever they want, and we could throw in some zombies in there too, or whatever else is needed. Just fishing for ideas and seeing if there is any interest at all. 

Some ideas could be a Royal Palace, a Saloon, above/below stairs, cruise liner, bright young things, theatre, life of poets and artists, victorian vampires and other creatures, Pirates (Tanith is a pirate, aw yiss) etc. For some reason I'm craving a love/hate rp thing, yeah. ;)

So,  I don't really know what I am doing, or what will happen with this, but I thought I would give it a try and just ask. Everyone is so much more creative than I am with coming up with ideas, so I'll happily take any suggestions. ^^
