Fisel did not believe him.
She wasn't sure why. Insofar he'd only seemed haughty, not malicious, but being a test subject for the unknown would not have set well with anyone. Even with that particularly simple qualifications of being able to stand still. Could she stand still? She was suddenly doubting her ability to do so. Was she fidgety? Other clansmen had called her fidgety in the past, right?
Her brow was furrowed with such intense doubt as she continued to follow Baron. They came upon a large room. She stopped behind him, not bumping into him this time. Her pointy ears twitched in curiousity. "I'll have to...what?" She stepped out from behind him. It was then she caught sight of the gown. Completely unsure of how she had missed it before. Fisel stepped closer to it, her head cocking to one side.
"It's a dress." She almost sounded disappointed. A dress? How harmless. Maybe, this was less an experiment into the arcane and more of a deep dive into some new sexual preference he had discovered. Oh, wait, that was worse. Wasn't it? It was rather beautiful. Fisel had only seen such a thing in the masquerades and galas she broke in to. Someone wearing a dress such as this would have certainly been one of her top marks.
"You want me to...put on the dress?"
It wasn't the idea of losing her clothing that was bothering her. Fisel stepped out of her boots. It was that taking them off would bring her closer to the unknown and there wasn't even that much between her and the unknown already. A pair of wool stockings held up by a length of colorful ribbon and a thin ivory-colored tunic. With a quick motion of her arms she brought the tunic over her head. Her curls bounced every which way as she shook them out. "How much do I need to take off?" Stocking and underthings didn't seem like they would get in the way of putting on a dress.
Her gaze bounced between the dress and the Baron. She frowned at his mask. Why would he not take it off?

I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you.
