<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;]Kae had always been so good at avoiding trouble in the past, yet there she was, half stripped and confused as anyone might be when asked to remove their clothing in front of a stranger. Fear had yet to sink towards the pit of her stomach, but in it's place was a lingering curiosity that seemed to feed seeds of doubt pertaining to Ventus' intentions. How he watched her was unsettling, but something in the way his hands felt and pressed eager palms against her breasts, appreciating the stemcell rich epidermal layer, was almost desirable. It stirred a longing she hadn't felt in some time, and with a deep breath exhaled, the synthetic backed away as soon as her companion returned to his seat.
"I have nothing to hide." Kae's voice was little more than a whisper as her vision lowered to where manicured fingers were already easing off the elastic fabric encasing her figure. "I don't need to be changed either, Mr. Astartes."
The K.A.E. launch had been such a huge success in previous years because of the countless innovations the series brought to consumers seeking android companions. Not just workers, but genuine companionship with a multi-matrix AI system that mimicked the human brain. Later models also included what Kae possessed; a fiberweave skin frame that was more organic than it was artificial. Her body could be harmed. Blood vessels could rupture for honest bruising, muscles could be torn from over use and exertion, skin could be cut and scraped and stretched- nothing about Kae's outward appearance offered any insight into what she actually was, save perhaps her unnatural hair color, and the various branding Tanzo left to verify their product was authentic.
Behind the crest of Kae's stud adorned left ear was her serial number. Her information was traceable, convenient to attain, and up to date. Ventus didn't need to see her nude in his bedroom. He wanted to.
Slipping from the body suit, Kae was left standing statue still for a moment, staring. He wanted a twirl with the exposure, and regardless how asinine this seemed to the woman, her body shifted and spun for Ventus' approval. He would first notice the generous portions of her figure, all buxom and shapely as though whoever designed the unit appreciated an hourglass physique on their women. It was a work of art unto itself, practically flawless besides whatever superficial flaws the Synthetic had managed to pick up in years leading up to this event. "Do you see any need for modification?" Kae asked, though her confidence was unmistakable. She may not have been human, but she wasn't simple by any means- Kae knew the state of her body was well above and beyond what most city denizens were capable of maintaining.
A piece of modern art from the heart of the metropolitan area. Chic, perhaps. Certainly priceless.
But the second most noteworthy attribute the woman could boast was a hint of metal that seemed to glint teasingly from between her closed thighs. Her hand lowered, the digits gently spreading the folds of her sex as a means to share the piercing with her present company. A simple silver J-bar dipped vertically, embedded in her clitoral hood. "I'm not sure what you would want to know about me. Really, there is any number of things. Is there anything I should talk about specifically with you?"

No sooner had she finished sharing the piercing did her hand pull back from the folds of her sex, returning to resting passively at her sides. Her weight would shift from one leg to the other, jostling curvaceous hips as the synthetic offered further, "As was my hair and eye color, my height and weight, my cup size..." Kae trailed off with an almost bemused look painting her features. While speaking with Ventus hadn't been something difficult to do, she hardly thought there was reason to share pivotal details concerning her creation. This wasn't a trading session where both were looking to swap life stories in exchange for whatever modicum of friendship those sort of things earned someone. Instead, he hinted at curiosity, but didn't push. In turn, the woman offered a skimmed version of her history that felt watered down even to the individual who had lived the experiences.
But it was in this strange way that Kae did consider herself human. Were it not for the countless times she had been told otherwise, she wouldn't differentiate herself from those living and breathing within Saigon. She lived in her own right, didn't she? She breathed as well, if not better, than most of them. Her emotions were genuine, her reactions natural; these neurotransmitters couldn't be replicated or programmed. The qualifications for sentient life to be considered equivalent to humanity were archaic in this day and age, and besides procreation, Kae was capable of every function her human counterparts boasted the ability to perform, consciously or otherwise. Yes, this made her life difficult. Several times, someone had caused a scene upon learning she was a synthetic, and there was a public outcry that rallied on through the years demanding androids have certain characteristics humans did not. Markers to point out they were different.
Brands that were meant to keep synthetics seen as second class citizens. Slave collars. Proof they could be bought and sold, thus needed no rights.
Lost in thought for a moment, Kae almost missed the outstretched hand that lifted to grasp her wrist, though the tug couldn't be overlooked. The woman followed the male's direction, closing the gap between their two bodies until hers lingered in shameless nude display she had been left to show for the past few moments in Ventus' presence. When both of his hands began venturing the curves of her figure, Kae inhaled deeply, her eyes looking elsewhere while the breath in her chest was held through his investigation. Even, and especially, when he brushed flesh en route to where she had showed him the piercing. Her heightened state seemed to amplify the sensation, her skin raising from the cold with goosebumps while her lips parted in protest.
"Mr. Astartes, w-what are you doing?"
Kae wasn't compelled to follow his orders. After all, she was a freed Synthetic who had no master; her compliance wasn't bought. Instead, she found herself raising one long leg over the shelf formed by Ventus' knees because she was afraid. Terrified of what would happen if she said no. Yet, beneath that lingering fear was something more carnal- perhaps appreciative of what the male was attempting to coax out from within the android. Just as he had asked, Kae straddled Ventus' hips with her shapely thighs, her ass coming to rest atop the mobster's groin, which gave him a closer look at her exposed cunt and it's decorative jewelry. Despite following the order, Kae still had reason to ask under her breath with hints of distaste lacing her tone, "Why am I doing this?"

<img style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="avatar]Kae may not have agreed with the idea that Ventus was her best option concerning living arrangements. Being alone had been a fine option; one without dictation. There was no enforcer to push her one way or the other, no expectations to meet, no threat outside of those remaining in the city proper. Her existence had been one in the shadows, coasting beneath the radar with a healthy dose of suspicion added to her otherwise free wandering. One couldn't expect to be truly free with a tracking chip and a serial number, but the best she could have with limited resources was what the Synthetic had managed to upkeep. Now, Ventus was encroaching on her comfort zone. Not necessarily including the demands he made in regards to her body, but his goals involving Kae staying in his home.
This place was foreign, regardless how lavish and extravagant the mansion was. She wasn't a stranger to this sort of lifestyle, but it had been many years since the last time she inhabited a home of this caliber, and part of the woman felt overwhelmed with the haste things had progressed. Hours prior, she was working a typical shift at the Veil, with her usual patrons ordering drinks and Marv grumbling quips about whatever woes he felt were worth sharing in the moment. That had been home to Kae. Now, straddling Ventus' waist with her parted thighs, the Synthetic was at a loss for words. She simply watched the male's features for a long moment, hoping this level of observation was enough to indicate she hadn't a clue what he intended to do. It wasn't naivety, but genuine confusion in the wake of cryptic commentary.
To be the puppet wasn't simple by any means.
His hands dragged and groped and clutched at her body, causing Kae's physique to tense in response. The game he played was cruel, his teasing attentions earning a small sigh from the woman as she did her best not to move any more than was absolutely necessary. Lips parted when his knuckles came to rest against her cheek, and perhaps her expression softened to one akin to acceptance, if only to sate what desire Ventus harbored for such a thing. Kae could only assume he wanted permission, otherwise she would already be face down in the mattress; she wasn't a fool. His arousal pressed through the fabric of his robe, and in turn, it was met with her moist folds parting against the distinct prodding. Kae didn't feel shame over how her reactions might have been taken, though silence would need to be broken in soft spoken response towards the male's latter message.
"Do you always wish to be vague?" His hold on her hips was overlooked for the moment as Kae peered over Ventus' optic implant, her lids narrowing slightly. "I don't like this game of yours, Mr. Astartes. You're not playing fairly." Of course, the woman was perched where she had been told to sit, and had the game really been such a disappointment, she could have gotten away. At least, she could have attempted to do so. That exposed skin was pristine, like new, but that didn't mean she was opposed to earning a healthy beating if it meant proving a point. Kae wasn't a slave, and if he meant to keep her locked away like one, she would end this deal of theirs without a thought given to her overall safety. Her memories were stored in the Tanzo cloud storage matrix; she could be salvaged in some sense.
Kae didn't want to be salvaged though. She was more than content with the being she was, and the body she had.

<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;]Kae wore her charms like armor; a shield from the malevolence Ventus showed when he spoke of games. A lack of games, as it were. She didn't believe him for a second, and with a disapproving frown, the Synthetic responded quietly with, "I'm not what you want, Mr. Astartes. If anything, I'm just another plaything you thought you wanted to fill an otherwise empty house." Her blue hues broke from Ventus to search the bedroom for a moment, the hand following the outline of her figure a secondary focal point she could ignore for the time being. "You can tell me otherwise if you want, but I'm no fool, Mr. Astartes. Please do not treat me like one." Her lips shifted to a defiant line, pursed and paused through her thoughts as though she meant to gather more ammo to gun down future excuses. Kae meant what had been said, every word, and any indication that Ventus was trying to pull the wool over her eyes would be met with swift verbal retaliation.
After all, Kae remained free, even if she was throned upon Ventus clothed sex.
Of course, even that article of clothing was a short lived barrier, replaced by warm skin and faint hair follicles. Hairless as she was, the sensation was always noticeable, and the Synthetic lowered her gaze over his lap in muted assessment. Initially, she considered climbing off of the male to retreat to the room she had been offered previously, but she thought better of the action. Instead, with a small smile capturing her countenance, the woman asked, "Do you really want to know? Alright, Mr. Astartes." A set of manicured digits rose to brush the length of the mobster's jaw while her vocals lulled on in their disarming way. "Your first move would be to get to know me. Not how I feel, or whether I'm fully functional- no. It would be to ask questions, and to receive answers. That would be the correct approach to courtship, Mr. Astartes."
With a shift of her hips, Kae's body moved against Ventus' as the gap between their chests was closed, leaving the two touching from the neck down. Her next message came at the crest of his ear, quieter now as what was stated was done in secret. "But I know you won't do that. You won't ask me about my past, or get to know who I am. You don't want to know those details. You just want to get your dick wet." And with that, Kae pulled away once more to grind dangerously close to the male's pressed erection. It would linger between them like a menace, unacknowledged because the woman knew that as long as she ignored him, he would fixate. In an almost taunting manner, she enjoyed leaving him to wait; the waters could be tested by both individuals in this regard.
"Tell me I'm wrong, Mr. Astartes." Kae didn't expect he could do any such thing, so her visage offered a smile one might read as condescending.

<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;]Pain was a choice.
When the squeeze threatened to crack the artificial bone spurs in her neck, Kae's AI shifted to factory settings, where numbness seemed to subdue the sensors stressing pain through her chassis. She gasped, her eyes widening while dark brows rose and knit in accusation. A thousand thoughts crossed her mind, though none of them were shared, and when her figure was tossed across the carpeting, she rolled through the landing with a series of harsh coughs. The fist was new - Kae had never been punched before, and upon tasting blood, she could understand every terrible news event and tasteless movie scene like she had starred in more than this outburst from the male. Did she think less of him for it? Of course. Was she going to fight back then? Not even slightly. At least not physically, laying in a crumpled heap along the decorative rug, with her bottom lip a bloody mess that dripped messily down her chin.
Her tears were saline, her eyes blinking back tears, and her injuries were vivid against the canvas of fair skin. Bruises were forming, her side covered in rug burn from the initial crash to the floor, and the raw skin would have stung were it not for the natural overrides in place. A timer ticked within the Synthetic, counting down seconds as data relays coursed through to monitored logs. Every action was recorded for future reference through that teary gaze of hers, though it didn't seem to register as anything more than the gaze of someone betrayed. As they were, and as Ventus had promised, his actions were a level of betrayal Kae couldn't comprehend in the moments coming to pass. It would rise in her mind for only a split second before her body was once more tossed about like a ragdoll.
Kae ended up splayed in a bent fashion, legs tucked beneath her battered figure while hands moved only to steady her wobbling physique. Through berating and physical abuse, the Synthetic seemed durable. Hurt, but not broken. Silent, but not defeated. Her sight remained steady locked on the male, and with the final slap issues, Kae spit blood across his expensive flooring without batting a lash. Eerie in some sense, the android was remarkably quiet throughout his outburst until she was unceremoniously pinned down against the mattress with long legs spread, and hands ripping at the covers. Instinctively, Kae suddenly kicked backwards in her attempt to get away from Ventus, though found her neck locked down with enough force to keep her firmly placed in this captive embrace. His cock prodded at her folds, sinking between them as his last words were spoken, though the woman thrashed again to keep the mobster from enacting his wishes. Every fiber of her being would scream resistance, and her thighs tried as best they could to shove the man's body away from hers.
"Stop-" She said, though the clarity of her voice seemed less than it once was. A wavering tone wrought with underlying pain. She was numbed, not impenetrable. "Get off of me!" Kae screamed loudly, as loud as she could, accompanying the message in whatever misguided attempt there was to make in shouting for help. Yet still, the recording continued in vibrant high definition as her sidelong portrait looked up from the covers. She stained these with blood as well, and by the end of his rampage, she expected to have wracked up a hefty amount of charges.

<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;]Kae was left paused where she had been held when Ventus pulled away, her eyes wide and her battered features covered in bruises and smeared blood. Some would argue the male had destroyed a valuable piece of art; a one of a kind creation. Her once pristine flesh was patchy, scraped and scratched, with welts adorning her exposed limbs. Her torso seemed to have taken the most damage, hand prints ingrained in her sides from where he had squeezed, paired with countless other marks and lesions. The Synthetic, despite this, continued to usher short breaths and attempt nothing else. Judging silently, blue oculars locked on Ventus', obviously shocked by his reactions. The woman was well beyond typical fear, but instead crossed the threshold bordering panic, which meant him pulling away was some evidence he hadn't gone insane.
Perhaps he was always insane, and she hadn't realized the extent of his mental illness previously. Kae's mistake had been trusting Ventus. Further, she made the mistake of thinking he could be rational, enjoyable company to keep. Controlling was one thing; humanity was constantly seeking to control her kind. Violence, though, was a human condition. Weakness. So where he now laced altered fingers through her bubblegum locks, she let her expression fall on obvious disappointment. Shamed to be anywhere near the mobster. His toss did nothing to change her bashed features, her figure coming to rest on her knees when she had stopped moving against the far wall. Kae made sure to drip blood on the carpeting here as well, her nose streaming with artificial vitae in unstopped cascades.
Ventus might as well have taken a pipe to Kae, so the fact she could even sit up on her own was a miracle. Though, it appeared that action was short lived as she leaned weakly against the wallpaper. Turning towards in, her forehead was met with the cool surface, and the Synthetic bled there, too. Everywhere in case he meant to forget what he had done. His disgust didn't matter to Kae, nor did his messages as they were passed through the air between their two opposing forms. A minuscule smile curled at the corner of Kae's lip momentarily where she propped herself facing away from Ventus. "Why, Mr. Astartes? What does it matter to you?" Licking blood off the surface of her teeth, she noted one of her front incisors felt loose, wiggling with the pressure she put forth.
Looking sidelong as the figure where he was newly dressed, the android shrugged her shoulders gently. "I can't help you." No apology was shared, nor did she expect she would ever find herself feeling genuinely sorry to or for Ventus. There were lines one could cross, and be suitable for redemption at a later point in time. Then there were actions and events that took place in which there was no means available to find common ground about. Kae had never been assaulted in such a manner before, and though her pain sensor wasn't active currently, it would time back on within the hour. She knew she would hurt. Beyond that, she knew she would hate Ventus for hurting her. Now he was just a child with cruel intentions and a quick temper. Then, he would be a monster. He would be everything she couldn't stand about humans.
"If you hurt me again, you will prolong my pain sensor's reactivation. So, at this point, I might prefer being recommissioned."

Cold, almost dismissive vocals left the Synthetic like a release of frigid air. Icy hues searched the details of the wall several times over before they strayed to Ventus, though even when she finally met his gaze, there was a hollowness to her expression. A bitterness. Bloodied, battered features harbored no emotions whatsoever, her visage a mask of stoicism that had surprising weight; her judgement was unbiased. Unstable as Ventus seemed to be, Kae didn't intend to provoke him further, but she would give him no reason to want her company. She certainly had no interest in his, be it in his bed, on his floor, or in the spare room nearby. When he crouched near her, Kae instinctively flinched, her eyelids tightly shutting as if expectant to be hit again.
"Than intended..." The Synthetic parroted softly, fatigue straining her bruised physique slightly more noticeably with each passing moment, leaving her to rest heavily against that nearby wall for support. His hand moving against her skin was ignored, though his thumb tracing her jawline would be met with the swelling and the blood, as well as a severe gash along the curve of her chin that oozed even then with new globules of cruor. Her cheek was bruised, her bottom lip split; there were lesions and lacerations to be accounted for. Ventus had overstepped the line between punishment and blatant cruelty, and whether he was sorry for breaking his new toy or not didn't honestly matter. Kae had been right in her previous assessment, and she would come to realize this the more her companion spoke.
Fixable, as he put it, meant cell manipulation. It meant quick and dynamic growth. Shots. Treatments. Things a normal individual would only undergo under the most dire of circumstances because the cost alone was enough to leave most rethinking their options. Of course, Kae had never been hurt by anyone in this fashion, so she had no firsthand knowledge concerning what Ventus was promising her. Not that she believed him anyway. His last promise was washed out by the blood staining his bedroom in dried pools, his words as phony as his artificial eye was. As Kae herself was. None of this mattered inevitably as the two of them were worth less to society than the metal used in their augments. "You should know I cannot erase what goes to the cloud. Everything you say and do to me, while located near me, is stored there. I am stored there."
Kae would do her best to keep herself upright as her eyes settled on Ventus after he had moved away from her once more. "So... don't hurt him. Threatening me with his safety doesn't change the facts." Achingly slowly, Kae's hand would rise so she could finally rub her digits against the extent of damages across her countenance. It was a heart wrenching sight to watch her face fall as each injury was touched, the lack of pain making every marring the woman touched new and invasive on her normally unblemished skin. Perhaps she had gathered enough about her current state in the brief time she lingered on the details, her hand falling back to her side while she once more hid her expression behind a curtain of messy pink strands.
Blinking back tears, Kae admitted with a wavering sigh, "I would rather you recommission me. I no longer wish to be in your custody or care."

<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/OHyHtms.png" style="max-width:25%;float:right;margin:0 0 18px 18px;]The Synthetic had no doubt in her mind that Ventus was good at attracting problems on his own; she just didn't want to have any part of it. This - whatever this was - didn't appeal to Kae. There hadn't been much reason for the woman to follow the male home previously, save for the possibility there was truth to his words. A better life, as he had mentioned. Of course, bleeding all over the hand touching her face didn't constitute for anything of the sort. If nothing else, their situation fell several rungs on the ladder lower than her previous living arrangements did, and she had already experienced enough abuse in one night to instill a settling sense of disconnection from her companion. He was, in polite terms, reckless. Her bashed features paid testament to this fact.
"Or you find them, Mr. Astartes."
His apology was soaked; her eyes lifted only to meet his gaze. "I can't override them." Stated plainly, Kae didn't seem deceitful as she explained further, "That's beyond my level of access. There is an uplink connection that feeds data to the memory banks, and those memories are kept in the cloud. I am not an employee, therefore I do not have the access needed to retrieve the files. Even if I did, there are more files stored in the cloud than just mine- billions. Perhaps trillions. I couldn't tell you how many bytes of data are there. I can reload my own files if the need arises, but I cannot erase them nor alter them. That's the law, Mr. Astartes. Synthetics cannot tamper with their own memories." Kae paused to straighten as best she could, wiping blood in a slick smear from beneath her nose to the middle of her cheek.
"If you overwrite me, you will have a factory model. So, if that is what you would prefer, do so." Kae shifted to prop against the wall with her back straight, her nude figure still exposed as blotchy red bruising started to darken with time. Ventus walking away didn't put Kae anymore at ease than she had been over the past sequences of events. If nothing else, it set off alarms in the back of her mind concerning why he chose to leave the room. The faucet would run, and in the forefront of her mind, Kae counted the seconds as though expectant of some new startling revelation to reveal itself in regards to the gangster. After all, their evening had already plunged into the dark recesses of human interaction. More to come was always a possibility, especially with Ventus' temper. Kae didn't know how to deal with him anymore than she knew how to deal with her nose, which continued to bleed even as Ventus returned.
"Why?" Kae asked because his answer was cryptic, but also because she didn't want the idea to be left open ended. A struggle was something she could see overcoming, but currently, her situation was dead end, and the android felt trapped because of this. The first signs of pain had began ebbing through the lockout, and even as she listened stoically, tears welled at the corner of her sky blue eyes. Resting on dark lashes, they threatened to fall should she blink. When his hand tipped her chin upwards, the woman returned to staring in her typically fixated way, quiet only until he had finished speaking.
Then, and only then, did she answer with, "You're cruel, Mr. Astartes, and I can only wonder what left you as this pitiable husk of a human being."
