<img style="max-width:45%;float:left;margin:0 18px;" src="http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/Kim_Irvine/banner6.png" style="avatar] <font color="#5FFB17] There was a trench that went through the trees and towards the maze, spilled fuel was alight small fires glittering a blue-purple hue along the trench. Strewn with broken branches, glass, metal and chrome parts were littered across the expanse of dirt and trees, making it quite obvious that things were not where they were supposed to be though it could have been far worse as far as the damage went. The nose of the craft was bent and broken, while smoke and steam was pouring out of the engines in the wings which were not at the correct angles. At least it was still in one piece for the most part, so it was fixable – it would just take time to repair and the acquisition of new parts.
The door was suddenly thrown free, metal bounced and skidding across the dirt from the force before someone lowered themselves from the aircraft. If anyone had been watching they would have noticed that this individual was not quite human given the way he dropped to the ground, followed by the smooth movement of a long serpentine tail which slid from within the ship to coil around him in a mass of gold and black scales. Standing upright he was around six and a half feet tall, not including the other twelve or so feet of black and gold banded tail that coiled over the dirt trench.
But then he had just come out of a crashed spacecraft.
He was quite attractive, in his early twenties with broad shoulders and a toned, muscular build which was decorated with golden scales intermittently across lightly tanned skin – mostly along his shoulders, hips and sides. His upper body was bare but an emerald silk wrap was around his waist, stopping a few feet from the ground and held up by a thick twisted gold chain around his hips which held a circular compact with a crest design stamped into the gold. It acted as a compass, identification and a personal cloaking device. It would be quite obvious that he had expensive taste by the other jewellery that decorated his upper arms and wrists, though they had their uses - a communication device among other things.
Emerald eyes surveyed his surroundings, though he didn't expect to see anyone - he didn't sense any life forms nearby. Still there was a surprising lack of sarcasm as he said, << Well this is just a lovely turn of events. >>
