Julianna was indeed unaware of the going-ons being her back, which was actually a perfect metaphor for her control of the ship. Even if she'd had an inkling of an idea that they were misbehaving behind her back she would have ignored it.
Captain.
What a joke. A flimsy title at best when her ship could talk back and disobey her. She was a figurehead. A face. Meant to represent the whole of an organization and bring people together. How was she supposed to do that when she had the barest of command over the two entities on her...
The ship.
Meanwhile, May'ev's helmet displayed an emoticon that managed to look quite offended, as Owen's projections made obsence gestures at her.

"I'm fine," she hissed, with heavy emphasis on the 'f' sound, drawing it out in her frustration. Not caring that she'd sound as if she was talking to no one for a moment. Owen continuing to talk in her ear wasn't doing anything to soothe the behaviors he pointed out. "You don't have to do that May'ev." She whipped around in her chair just in time to see the two little cartoon versions of herself and the princess, before it blipped out of existence. She frowned.
"An engineer has its usefulness," she said, pushing out of the chair with her good arm." A princess has its usefulness. I am willing to accept, May'ev's proposal..."
The princess made a giddy squeal of a noise. Two of her of her fists pumping in satisfaction.
"On a trial basis," she concluded. "Owen made some decent points about how your presence on the ship could be detrimental to the diplomatic mission. If that turns out to be the case. I will have to ask you to depart."

I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you.
