<font color="#e6c519]Likereal thought the other male's mouth tasted rich and sweet, though he couldn't help but idly wish that they'd come to a wall instead of almost knocking over a vase. But seeing the other male smile like that was worth it. Likereal smiled faintly and said, "You mentioned the kitchen, where was it that they wanted the art in there?"
<font color="19e65b]“Along the paneling of the wall I think was mentioned," Lotus said a bit breathlessly, as he ran his hands through his hair and tried to look more presentable again. "Japanese script of poetry? Or some artistic combination like that? They weren't very specific,"
<font color="#e6c519]Likereal frowned slightly as he thought about that, his knowledge of japanese wasn't non-existant however he wasn't good enough to come up with poetry. He thought for a moment, he could work with that, perhaps some bamboo in browns and greens with the poetry, "Do you have any poems I could copy onto the pannels?"
<font color="19e65b]Lotus told him just a moment, and grabbed his phone, pulling up a japanese poem, and showed it to him. "That one." It didn't offer translation but it was a poem that Lotus felt keenly--it spoke of serenity.
<font color="#e6c519]He waited for the other male to find the poem and then took the phone to read it, he understood parts of it but not completely. "Alright then," he said and placed the phone onto the kitchen bench. Walking over he grabbed his supplies and relocated them over to the kitchen. Picking up the phone again he sketched the words onto the kitchen panelling, scattering the words of the poem between the different doors and the words were at different levels as well, not keeping it straight. As he washed his supplies and spread paint over the palate once more he started painting the words of the poem in black.
This was going to be one of the quickest rooms to do. The Japanese characters needed to be precise and he checked back to the images on the phone quite frequently but they formed quite easily beneath his brush in black paint, spread out evenly across the panels, every second panel was decorated in this way and once he finished with the black he washed his brush out again.
Changing brush he then began mixing colours again and he changed his mind, mixing different colours instead. Being very careful of the black so as not to smudge the lettering he began carefully painting a range of decorations dotted randomly around the words – sakura petals, butterflies and maple leaves dotted their way across the doors.
It only took forty-five minutes or so to complete the doors and he was happy with the results. Putting down the palate onto the bench he picked up his coffee and finished the remainder of what was in it. He washed his palate and brushes in the sink, being careful to get rid of every trace of paint before he got his towel and wiped them all off.
Looking back at the doors he smiled, “I’m going to have to put a flat, non-gloss varnish over the doors in a day or two to make sure that it doesn’t chip or get ruined. On the walls as well.”
<font color="19e65b]Lotus nodded his head, having meandered back and forth from the kitchen to the living room to just stare at the painted walls. He quietly entered the kitchen one final time, as Likereal was finishing his task, leaning on the counter top with his hip off to the side.
"So...does this mean you'll have to come back tomorrow?" he asked, tipping his head to the side to admire the work. "They're going to love this..."
<font color="#e6c519]Likereal smiled as the other male walked back into the kitchen, turning his gaze onto him properly as he packed his supplies into the case that he carried, "I'm glad that you think so. And I suppose I could tell you how to apply it but you're going to have to be careful. I can't do it today, the paint will be too wet still."
Lik snapped it shut as he turned his gaze back to Lotus and smiled, “So bedroom was the last one you mentioned as well as anywhere else, did they want anything in the bathroom? I'm assuming those are the only two rooms left that I haven’t seen yet.”
