<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/PcAJTGe.png" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]With the ruckus she assumed herself to be causing, which in the long run was little more a couple twenties in repayment for the liquor and a pissed off bartender, Lilly half expected a bouncer to show up in the near future to guide her in a less than polite manner the door. Before that though, she'd be damned if there wasn't a proper Manhattan in her hands; if the lioness wasn't going to teach this fresh off the streets mixer than who would? Whether or not he continued to make her drink over once again because he knew security would be on the ornery woman's ass soon enough, or because he was a damn well trained employee as well as a better person, helped to calm that building fire in her heart. A Simba like herself always felt restless, the fact that she was getting her way would only serve as a light splash of water on white hot coals.
Were her senses not in a consistent haze of self-medication, perhaps she'd have noticed a similar scent to her own coming her way. Under tight control for missions, the concoctions she downed were meant to keep her muscles quick, and her reflexes as fast to match; to have her vicious and ruthless, but controlled and not rabid. A moot point when Lilly disregarded half of what was prescribed and took a custom dosage to cope with the withdraws that came with skipping her regiment. What would otherwise be a well oiled machine was left with grinding gears and rusted levers.
That said, this shifter was no one to fuck around with.
In getting her second beverage of the night, which she had no intention of paying for, the orange maned alpha took up a place at the bar barely arms reach away from Lilly. With Bowie this close there was no mistaking the pheromones he gave off, the general prideful arrogance his held on gleaming features. Lilly almost let out a chiding giggle at the odds, she'd not thought another of her kind would be this far out, but then again, she'd not kept in touch with any pride in quite some time. Perhaps there were more lingering in her vicinity than she ever took note of.
Instead of laughing, she retrieved a pack of matches from an outer pocket of her leather coat. Whether it was empty or not was deduced with a brief shake to hear the rattle of a few. "<font color="e30024]It seems like you're in luck." With one in hand, the huntress pressed the head firmly against the counter and struck up a flame for the other Simba without care for what damage might have been done to the property. After he'd get his light for his cigarette she'd toss the extinguished stick out of sight to finally take a sip of what had better have been a fine whiskey with a sweet aftertaste. This taste hit the money so to speak as the glass was kept to her lips even as they curled into a frown at the supposed gentleman's words. Pulling it away ever so slightly she eyed the taller male with a gaze that showed no sign of backing down. "<font color="e30024]He knows what he did wrong, and rightly fixed his mistake. That still costs him the price of my drink, but perhaps not the tip." Another swallow of undoubtedly expensive liquor and she'd set the cocktail glass back down, a ring of her bright red lipstick leaving an impression on it. "<font color="e30024]You though, what have you done to deserve me buying you anything?" A scoff at the gall that this one gave off, clearly accustomed to getting what he wanted, but he'd find that Lilly did not raise her tail just because a man said so, regardless of his rank.
One had to break her knees before she would bow.
"<font color="e30024]The light was a courtesy. Are you really so poor as to not afford even a beer? Certainly the way you act and appear. I'd assume your pockets to be quite full." Shrugging, she reclaimed her mixed drink and coyly swirled the contents around while eying him for any reactions he might give her. "<font color="e30024]How about this, let me have that cigarette and I'll consider your offer." An outstretched digit from her glass signified the item between his lips, as well as slightly parting her own mouth in a smile to accept it as if expecting him to comply. At this point Lilly had turned on her stool to face the lion, one leg crossed over the other. If anything he'd succeeded in getting her attention away from whatever she was attempting to pull moments prior. Where it went from there was anyone's guess, but Lilly was always a lit fuse waiting to go off as the patrons that had been in the area were either gawking from a new found distance or vacated entirely.
