Jean chuckled, a low rumble of sound, tilting his head obligingly for her as his mouth slowly spread to a smile. Withholding from herself as much as from him, it was a familiar game that she was playing. It was not always one that he humored. It was his preference, after all, to make people express the things he already knew to be true. It would be easy enough to just give everyone what they wanted, knowing it as he did. But so much more fun to make them ask, to make them squirm, to make them beg.
And considering both his strength and hers, this had the potential to turn into a very peculiar wrestling match.
Nonetheless, he took an initiative she had not quite asked for. He turned, rolled over so that she was beneath him on the bed, his limbs caging her in.
"You are not worried, Signorina," he purred, "that I am a very bad man?" Too much residual power in him to be troubled by his leg, though if she thought to prod at him there, he would be very cross indeed. "I can be very cruel," he said, bending his head to nip at her throat with the sharp points of his teeth, "to pretty little books." Though for actual books, his cruelty more often took the form of neglect, left to sit on shelves and tables and stacks on the floor. He was not always better with people, in that regard.
