"You don't seem married."

Taiga didn't always find this sort of thing to be interesting.

Half the time, she sat around in some side booth while Aisling worked, playing a game on her phone. Rare was there an instance when the Fae was genuinely curious to hear another's fortune being read, even if that meant seeming standoffish towards her girlfriend's profession. Honestly, she wasn't. It wasn't a sense of squeamishness or any kind of disdain for the job. It had more to do with giving Aisling's client's a semblance of privacy, which was something Taiga expected them to want. Whether that was the case or not wholly depended on the client in question.

For now, this mysterious stranger wasn't a client. He was some guy who may have been trying to pick her up, and when Aisling mentioned a dream concerning him, Taiga felt her right eye twitch ever so slightly. Still hanging back just behind her beau, her vision narrowed under a look of suspicion. There was a great deal of types of magic, specifically the type used for manipulating dreams. The idea of such tampering never strayed far from her thoughts as this stranger was evaluated, though the Fae did manage to comment under her breath, "He doesn't look dead."

Oblivious to most acts of reincarnation at this point, Taiga let the point hang in the air like the persistent puffs of an avid smoker. "Dead is usually more permanent, isn't it? Shouldn't it be?" The latter part was a bit spiteful, but she had no inclinations to make an apology for it.
