Time for an update! Weee~!

I graduated with my BA; my diploma is in the mail and will hopefully be here in the next week and a half. (We'll see...) If not, I'm gonna call and make someone's ear bleed. (Probably not; I'm not inherently mean.) I won't go back for MA until late June. In the meantime I'm going to be attempting a serious hurdle: 3 book outlines and three books finished in 4 months, or by the end of the year. The outlines, at the very least, need to be finished over those four months.

I know I owe posts, but I don't think it's a lot. I'll consult me list on google docs...

But, yeah, happy belated v-day! Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated!

but also I owe a bunch right now...my life is all fucked up. I'm moving to goddamn Oregon in two weeks and my house is a wreck. I was literally dreaming last night about packing. Asking my husband which cups he wants to keep and sorting kitchen implements with him. I am pretty sure my arms were going through the motions of my dreams.

I hate moving. I think I'd rather clean poop out of the toilet than move my house again, tbh. It takes forever, you don't know what to pack when because you need some of the stuff still to--you know--do life, and nothing EVER fits in the boxes the right way. Getting on the moving truck is also a pain. I've made a life skill out of Tetris-packing on a vehicle.

Oh, god - there was a year where I moved like three fucking times and there is so much shit I still can't find that probably got lost forever between houses and I am not looking forward to the day we have to move again.

The last time we moved it was in two big ass Budget trucks. I'm not talking the regular moving trucks. I mean the biggest ones they had. We moved four people, 30+ worth of house stuff and furniture, all of the roomies stuff, and probably got rid of at least half a moving truck's worth of crap before going. And those trucks were PACKED. From the Tampa Bay all the way to ATL. Most exhausting move of my entirely life. Never again if I can help it. Fuck. No.

(Shamelessly inserts myself into the conversation because the instructions say to post in the chat thread, but like, in a friendly way.) Oh god moving is the worst. The last time I moved was like three years ago and across state... now I'm going to be moving literally from the southeastern corner of the US to the northeastern corner of the US and I just... no. So I feel you. Oregon is a good place, though; I used to visit there with my mum a lot. Get soooo cold in the winter tho. ;-;

Not looking forward to the process itself, but I am looking forward to moving out of my parent's place once I finish grad school and have a real-life person job. Where will I be moving to? No idea. Will I be moving? Hell yes. My room can no longer contain all the crap I've accumulated over the years between college and general life.

Now that Andrew and I have our own place I cannot fucking imagine how we managed to fit all this crap into one bedroom. Like... obviously some of the furniture and everything is new, but... the bed and the desks and all the shelves of board games and knick-knacks and just, THIS WAS ALL IN ONE ROOM, HOW DID WE DO IT
