Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - Blade - 11-25-2014

This is going to walk-in thread I'm working through making. The idea is an only Gothic castle home to Halloween-type creatures. Think Gothic novel kind of stuff with the classic a-typical feel of Frankenstein and Dracula. It'll have spider-webs in corners, secret passage-ways, an old library, etc. I wouldn't say it's be unclean or anything, just a bit old and little musty.

So, I know a few people are interested, but I wanted to know if anyone else was. And, of course, if they had any ideas to contribute.

The types of characters that would be totally at home would be vampires, werecreatures, ghosts, and the random monster who lurks about. It'd be totally NSFW as well. Annnnnd, if people wanna make some wierd Rocky Horror Picture Show person, totes fine with that too.

I'm usually not into this type of stuff, but it feels like cliched good fun. So, why not? Plus, RPing ghosts is le awesome. xD

This does sound interesting. Like a big home to a bunch of creatures? Perhaps a witch or a mad scientist could be at home there too?

Yeah, I'm down with that. Especially if you put your own twist on it. It'd be modern just because I think it'd be funny to have random human character wander in and be like dafook?

I can't do much without putting a twist of some kind on it. My brain is running away with it already. Humans wandering in would be pretty funny. Maybe teenagers going in on a dare at night could lead to some hijinks.

I'm game for playing monsters all the time.

Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - thedarkwyrm - 11-26-2014

Is it made yet?

Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - Blade - 11-26-2014

xD I should go ahead and make a thread. I guess I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas to add.

Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - nusith - 11-26-2014

None I can right think of at the moment. With open play all you can really do is set the atmosphere and let the story develop it's self. I do like the idea nad setting you want to lay it in.

Shay (hobobob) had the rad idea of making the character who owns the joint a reg old human who inherited it from some odd family member. Like, the poor bastard is just all.... "...wtf?" And now he's responsible for some shady, haunted, and creepy manor.

Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - thedarkwyrm - 11-26-2014

That would be hilarious. Gabriel would keep pestering him to sell the place, since he clearly has no idea how to handle it.

Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - Blade - 11-26-2014

Yeah... >,> But, then it wouldn't be funny anymore if he sold it. xD Or, maybe no one will buy it... because it's creepy.

Gothic Ghostly Castle RP - thedarkwyrm - 11-26-2014

Well, of course the guy won't actually sell it. Gabriel will just every now and then, when the guy is irritated at some particularly supernatural thing, make some sly insinuation about how Jinx Industries would be happy to take the problem off his hands.
