Given that I tend to have a variety of characters, I'll just post their profiles here to make it easier to keep track.

Name: Elizabeth (Elsie) Bowen
Apparent Age: Late 20s
Height: 198 cm
Weight: 110 kg
Hair: White blonde, kept in a single braid that brushes her calves
Eyes: Ice blue
Relationship status: In her fantasies
Orientation: Yes, but most likely not with you

Profession: Free trader, starship engineer, hacker (when desperate enough and unable to find anyone else to do it for her)

Elsie looks as if she could have been a Viking, a thousand years ago. Tall, strong enough to toss anvils as skillful with weapons as she is with tools, and touched by Odin's gift of berserking, she would have been a valued member of any raiding or colonizing party.

Now, though? Well, now there are far too many people crammed in too close proximity, she's too likely to run up against authority figures when she berserks, and she just does not take well to authority. She ran from one world when they tried to draft her into their army, and from another world when the corporation that owned it tried to capture her - for experimentation or for use as one of their security troops, she didn't know, and didn't stick around to find out.

In all her running, she managed to get her hands on an experimental ship - one that's not on the records of any company or the Federation, because the people who built it didn't want their nice shiny toy being taken from them BY the Federation - and has used it to get by as a free trader. Yes, she knows the Federation considers her to be a smuggler, and yes, she knows that if the people who built the ship ever find her, she's going to have a fight on her hands (if they try to get their ship back, and don't just write it off (with a nuke) as an acceptable loss), but for now, she's free, she's getting by, and she's rather enjoying her life.

At the moment, the only thing about her life she's not happy about is her lack of a partner. Even a play partner would be nice, but she's been burned enough times that she is hesitant to act on her interests, unless she sees some sign that the person she's interested in is not likely to be yet another burn.

Species: Human/ifrit hybrid (appears fully human)
Apparent Age: Late 20s
Height: 173 cm
Weight: 80 kg
Hair: White blonde, sometimes loose, sometimes in a braid, sometimes in a ponytail, but always as long and thick as Meiou Setsuna's hair
Eyes: Ice blue
Relationship status: Many casual flings, no one serious yet
Orientation: Yes, and whether it's with you depends on how you impress her

Profession: Licensed bartender, works the bar at Herzwesten, a place that's been around for so long the beer is brewed on Siegfried's grave, and one special grade only gets tapped once every 700 years.

In addition to tending bar, she's also queen of a little planet on the far side of nowhere, that she only found out when her new mirror turned out to be a portal, and the woman who owned the other side was the previous queen - at least until she tried to kill Sally without doing her research first. You don't fireball an ifrit. It doesn't tend to work. So, Sally killed the previous queen, and now she's stuck ruling the planet.

OH yeah, she's also a sorceress whose specialty is fire magic, but that doesn't pay the bills. At least, not in modern times.
