ok so friends was a stretch, but they were friendly enough being forever bro housemates and all (having meals together, hot cocoa, snowball fights, sleeping in the same bed at times) I mean it was only a teeny tiny bit bromantic....

yes! they are on earth. omg i totally stole the setting and didn't even explain myself i'm the worst.

OKAY SO all my lynxes are from this dumb place I made up called the Veridian Isles. there's four islands - Eryra (sai lives here), Laine, Macrilan (the closer island), Dakannore (the shitty island they are stuck on) and they are on normal earth, somewhere non-specific because idk where i would just stick a buncha new islands.

probably the pacific

ANYWAY

I am going to save the whyyyyy of picking that location because i think i came up with something interesting, but i want it to be a surprise.

Exhibit A: He WAS aggressive in seducing another man's wife, who he was supposed to be at least cooperative with
Exhibit B: He sucks ass at his job which involves being responsible for another life
Exhibit C: He's a squatter in the house of the woman he's supposed to be protecting (I suppose he'll have to thank a certain man named OWEN for making sure she was safe)

Exhibit A: They were equally aggressive in different ways. Sairus just made the first move. also Kama was a shitty husband and everyone knows it
Exhibit B: You can't take care of someone who doesn't want to be taken care of??? they're all adults??? he's not going to put her on house arrest. also, she is a queen and he has very little authority
Exhibit C: he wasn't squatting?? omg, don't make him sound like a loser. HE HAD A ROOM AND EVERYTHING. All the weatherfares lived on the third floor.

Exhibit D: OWEN IS THE LAST PERSON HE WOULD THANK FOR KEEPING HER SAFE. OMG ARE YOU JOKING
