<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/llHPSai.png" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;] "Thanks,' she replies with an easy grin. Usually the compliment was followed up by how it was also the name of a character in some ancient children's novel. She was glad she didn't have to hear that for the millionth time.

She idly twisted a strand of vermilion curls around her finger. She laughed lightly a his lines, a delighted and airy sound that crinkled the edges of her golden orbs. "You're quite the charmer aren't you?" she teases, releasing the lock of hair to curl fingertips around the stem of her fresh drink. "I'm in a show upstairs," she explains before taking a sip. "Magician, specifically. They're calling me Aslan the Magnificent this time around, I think." She laughed again, maybe more of a giggle that shook her shoulders bemusedly. "To be fair, I just got here. So, I suppose you were just lucky enough to get here first."

Another sip and another sweep of those vibrant eyes. "Do these lines work with all the girls?"

"I've been called a charmer before," he admitted with a soft grin. "Never by a magician, before. Wouldn't you have better claim to that title than I? I only charm one person at a time, if I'm lucky. You charm entire crowds, miss Magnificent." He chuckled and took another sip as she talked.

"Ehh." He held up a hand, making a so-so gesture with his hand, giving a rather rueful grin. "About half the time. They usually get my foot in the door, though. I'd rather have to make up for a cheeky opening than fail to start the conversation at all. Especially since I'm talking to a celebrity, it seems." He gave her a casual grin, leaning forward and twirling one hand in a small bow.

<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/llHPSai.png" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]"Perhaps, you're right," she agrees with a toss of her fiery main. Clearly no stranger to compliments, and having no qualms about easily accepting them. What was the point in playing coy, and denying when a man decided to call you pretty? It wasn't as if he didn't know what he liked.

"People do love it when you make a tiger disappear." Always with the tiger. Snowflake, as she called him affectionately, was easily the crowd favorite. "Or make petty things reappear," she lifted her free hand and curled her fingers inwards towards her palm, when she spread them again, a one-hundred credit chip from the casino upstairs was locked between her index and middle finger. She offered it to him as as she sipped casually on her beverage.

She lifted her drink in response to his bow, imitating a toast. "Hardly, a celebrity I think. Since, you didn't seem to recognize me." She followed this statement with a meaningful tilt of her brow.

The last time Quinn had been to Radius she had one of the most uneventful evenings she could remember having in a long time. There was more going on back in her crappy apartment than there was that night at the bar. Firstly, she had ordered a drink, actually she had asked for the bartenders specialty, which happened to be a Bloody Mary. It was actually quite good, but she had not the chance to ask him about it before someone yelled free drinks and bar became crowded with those hopeful for free booze. Quinn didn't mind a crowd, but it was irritating to be so close to a group of individuals forcing and pushing each other just because some idiot told them drinks were on the house.She didn't stay long after that incident.

So, how is it that found herself back in this place? She wasn’t too sure, after finishing her day at the office her feet just kind of led her back here. Perhaps it was to avoid another night at home with her laptop and a bag of dorioreos, ignoring calls from her sister regarding her wedding and feeling like a disappointment to everyone she knew. Back on Europa she had friends, plenty of them, but having moved here to Osiris for work she could not even find one soul to talk to that was not business related.

This time, Quinn took a seat at a table instead of the bar and flipped her carmine red hair over her shoulder. Perhaps it was her appearance? She was only partially human after all, the other part being Jovian. Europa; a moon of Jupiter, was colonized by humans many eons ago, and most who were born there had some type of human DNA within them. The iris of her eyes were solid red, almost the same colour of her hair. On each side of her cheek two strips of black, similar to the stripes on a tiger, which again appeared on her long neck. Still, she was not unattractive. It could be the fact that she could be rather introverted, and found it difficult to start conversation on her own that left her friendless here on Osiris.

Slowly she tapped her finger along the table top, pressing her lips together as she scoped the place out. Was this to be a prediction of what her life was to be here? Coming to a bar every night, sitting and waiting around like some pathetic loser? Getting drunk and wandering home alone, only to wake the next morning to go to work and do it all over again? Startled by her own thoughts Quin closed her eyes and shook her head. Something would happen soon, wouldn’t it? At the very least she could find some inspiration here for writing.

“heh, I could get a cat and start a blog about it.” She muttered to herself, placing her elbow on the table, cupping her chin in her hand.

Hmm. I wonder if that's natural or ... no, she's got the stripes. Jovian, maybe? If that's the case, she should have eyes to match her hair. Can't see from this distance, though. But sitting alone at a table? Can't have that.

Elsie ordered another beer and a mojito. Once both were delivered, she took them and made her way from the bar to the table the carmine-haired beauty was sitting at. She put the mojito down in front of the other woman, then settled into the chair opposite her and gave her a good, appraising look. "Yup. I guessed right. Jovian, right? Hi. I'm Elsie. You looked kind of unhappy, sitting here all alone, and honestly, I was getting kind of bored, sitting at the bar all alone. I figured I could solve two problems with one move. What do you think?"

Radius || Open - thedarkwyrm - 11-15-2014

Lezvie took the chip and played it over his knuckles, passing it behind his hand. When he opened his fingers again, the chip was gone, even when he turned his hand over, letting her see both sides. "I've not seen anything in this bar, yet. I haven't really seen much of anything on this station, even. Though, I am enjoying what I'm seeing now." He ran his gaze over her with a soft grin.

"Tell me, do you ever do private shows? You seem like the type who wouldn't mind squeezing large amounts of credits out of people with more money than ability to impress their friends."

Radius || Open - tanith - 11-15-2014

Quinn watched with raised brows as a woman she did not know confidently approached and placed what appeared to be a mojito down in front of her. Eyes flickered up to meet those of the woman suspiciously as she sat down across from her, uncomfortable with the way she was being looked at. The woman then proceeded to introduce herself as Elsie, and seemed quite pleased with herself at being able to identify her lineage, although she was a bit off.

"I'm actually half Jovian. I'm from Europa, most of us are of some mixed race" Quinn shrugged, It was indeed true. Her father was from Jupiter, her mother was of human heritage although she still bared some of the Jovian markings from her father's side.

"and I am indeed rather unhappy, the bartender I spoke to the other night is not here, he makes the best Bloody Mary's." She looked at the mojito in front of her, she wasn't one to take drinks from a stranger, especially in a club such as Radius. Although she did not want to offend the woman and her offering, and so cautiously brought the cup to her lips discreetly smelling the contents, and once satisfied politely took a sip. She set the drink back down on the table, looking coldly back at the woman. Quinn wasn't very good at social situations, finding it hard to be friendly with those she didn't know. It added to her inability to make new friends.

All the deals that seemed too good to be true usually were, and they each had a lesson to teach in regards to who could be trusted. Nova's offer to give her a place to stay was thoughtful, likely genuine, but not one the bartender ever took seriously. She had a Mitzi backpack to putz around with, and life was always harder with luggage you never got to put down. Any worries she had weren't for herself, but for that incredibly trashed bimbo she called a room mate. Six days a week, the other Martian drowned her sorrows in Twest'kik bourbon and said very lewd things from the other room to Reyr's, but there was time when Mitzi wasn't a fucking basket case nympho, and it reminded Reyr of her homeworld. That's probably what Reyr had been dreaming of when her room was filled with sound, and groggily she understood that someone had mounted her thighs.

"Mm, ohshit-" The Martian gargled, flailing a bit under the weight of the other woman, who's prehensile appendages had made to graze and flick at Reyr's skin. If anything could wake her up, it was being tickled, and through the barrage of sensitive grazes, Reyr managed to bat them away and squirm out of their reach, going so far as to scoot Nova over with her. Of course, it was futile trying to roll over and go back to sleep, but that didn't mean Reyr was beyond trying. Her head still buzzed from the alcohol last night and the light, though dim, was blinding. Nova's features hovered so close, she could probably tell the bartender had been drinking, though it wasn't as common an occurrence as some may have been led to believe.

"Idunwantagetupyetnooooova!" Whining, Reyr felt justified grumbling, finally opened her lids to those strange orbs, which lingered uneasily just above her eyebrows. Sniffing the air, her vision shifted with a flicker, as it was one of the few parts of her body not pinned down. "Do I smell muffins?"

Radius || Open - yinepuhotep - 11-15-2014

"Damn. A bartender who makes ... oh! Vrimlud! Of course!" She shook her head. "Yeah. I suspect he's trying to avoid the place right now, so he doesn't get roped into doing everything solo again. That was not the best advertisement for this place, especially with all the other bartenders abandoning their posts and leaving him to try to run it without any training."

She gave the other woman a raised eyebrow, then chuckled. "Not big on random people wandering up on you, huh? I can go, if you want." She shrugged. "I find that I never get to meet people I might end up enjoying the company of, if I don't take the risk."

Lor and Harold woke in the comfort of an inexpensive suite near the middle of Radius's tower, a few floors below the construction zone. Both of them were eager to go outside and retrieve their metals, and their truck, but neither could exit the premises.

Apparently "infectious disease specialist"--the business title of the rail-thin man the pair of Rasmodians managed to scrounge up for the generous man with the large gun--was NOT in fact code for "hacker with skills in computer virusery".

"How you feeling?" Harold asked from the floor in a voice husky from sleep.
Lor stared at the ceiling, nodding slowly. "Fine, are you--"
"--hungry? Yes. We should--"
"--wander downstairs for a bite?"

Lor had been granted the bed, a concession for his exceptional calm in the face of high-class Rasmodians the night before, and now he peered over the side. "What if they're still here?"

Harold snorted, stretching his arms over his head and sitting up in preparation to move around the suite, unbound to his "baby" twin brother as they were out of the public eye--out of proximity of possible strangers. He rubbed a palm over his deep purple mohawk and considered Lor with half-lidded eyes of violet. "That's what you're worried about? Not a gun, but--"

"--the ladies? Yes." Lor scrubbed the sides of his face and tugged a queen-sized bed's worth of rumpled sheets up to his chin. "They're terrifying."
"But lovely," Harold said softly. "You wanted to--"
"--sculpt them in blue marble?" Lor sighed. "I can't--"
"--help it. I know." Harold passed a soothing touch over his brother's forehead. "It's who we are, Lor. What we do. The Fettered One approves."

<img style="avatar" src="http://i.imgur.com/llHPSai.png" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]Aslan watched as the chip played over his fingers. When it disappeared, she squeaked a short giggle and clapped her hands together once. She wasn't so pretentious as to be disinterested in the tricks of another. She was generally quite pleased to meet someone else with even the smallest of talents.

"We have that in common then. I've not exactly taken the time to explore the colony." She noticed the way he looked her over, as she polished off the rest of her drink.

Reaching into the breast pocket of her dress shirt, she retrieves a pack of menthol cigarettes. She taps one out and slips it between her lips. "I don't do them anymore," she replies over the bobbing cigarette. She traded the boxing for a lighter. "If I did, the price would have to be very, very right."  The cancer stick was lit, the lighter disappeared, and she blew smoke with a satisfied exhale.

He grinned softly at her appreciative sounds, giving another light bow as though he had just given a full performance. "Well, I don't have the vast stacks of cash someone like you would be worth for a private show. Perhaps we could go explore the colony together. See the sights. Sample the bars. Get in a little trouble."

He knocked back the rest of his drink as well, setting the glass down with a thunk. "You seem like someone who can appreciate getting into trouble."

With one hand, he waved to the robot bartender, getting them both another refill, whether it was one for the road or just another drink.

Radius || Open - tanith - 11-16-2014

"Yes, that's this name. I'd certainly like to try out some of his other drinks, maybe I can write an article." She gestured as if she were writing headlines in the air. "Check out Radius for the best drinks on Osiris, Vridmuld the bartender, at your service."

The smile faded as quickly as it came, and Quinn slumped back down in her seat. At one time she had a pretty sweet position with her travel magazine back on Europa, that was until she gave some celebrity a piece of her mind and was demoted and sent to work in the Osiris location. Which was pretty much two other people in an office the size of a walk in closet. Perhaps she was better off here, Quinn never really did get along with snooty celebs, and interviews with most of them were a pain in her ass. Her goal was to write a novel worthy of Milky way top sellers list, or at least the top list within her home solar system. But, alas she was stuck writing articles for a travel magazine for the Jupiter area of a place that she could not see any of them visiting.

"Sorry there, I'm not good with strangers. Not a very good trait of mine I'm afraid, which is probably why I'm alone most of the time." She laughed and shook her head at herself, perhaps she should try and be more social, what did she have to lose? She could pretty much start over again, nobody knew who she was here. "So, Elsie, what brings you to Radius?"

[/img]"http://i.imgur.com/FYpuFlo.png" style="avatar" style="max-width:25%;float:left;margin:0 18px;]Dax didn't take it personal when her patron made a break for it. Sometimes she put too much intensity into the act. Too much spine stretching, too much toe curling, too much lust in those foreign red hues. When she looked at his reactions, they acted as to fuel the fire and stroke somewhere deep and forgotten. A feeling only performing could drag out of the Lepi, rough and wild and free. Her body formed a crescent when she climaxed, jerking with the spasms of pleasure, sending her open knees into a splayed display while quick digits continued stroking her clit. Somewhere outside the pillar of glass, the patrons gave their stunned or satisfied responses, but their reactions fell on deaf ears. Vulnerable in a pile of her own private shame, Dax smiled serenely as the barrier began to dim, tinting to the point her image wasn't available to the audience any longer.

Looked like her time was up.

Not bothering to move, she waited for her replacement to trot along, humming quietly under her breath to the tune of the music playing. Radius wasn't the busiest she had seen it, but there was a lot of unfamiliar faces in the area, and she wasn't sure if anyone she knew was working. Her luck was never so good that she defaulted to thinking her coworkers would be working her shift, and the robotic staff was all work and no play. Not that Dax was particularly interested in playing with the other employees right now. Not after what had happened with Paskar.

A much smaller Ruzhal woman with feathered spines down the backs of her thighs knocked on the glass before handing Dax a robe, not bothering to speak while the Lepi rose from her crumpled pile and slipped the fabric on. It felt strange after her exertions, but she didn't disagree with taking it, knowing it was better to be wrapped up when she made a discreet exit from the tube. Absently, the Lepi found herself scanning face to see where the Android had wandered off to, but she didn't try and chase them. Instead, she found a place at the end of the bar where he had been previously and ordered herself a diet cola. She didn't even like the taste of diet, but it was better than liquoring up this early.

>> -Undoubtedly, but I'd prefer to establish a line between flagrantly helpless and just low on options. I don't feel anything close to claustrophobia, so let me go first - I'm not sure if these are maintenance-cleared, and if they aren't the air content wouldn't be healthy for you at all.

The guard was still there, but that was solvable: Voltaire flickered through the webroot and tapped into his helmet, applying a quick patch to his HUD that pinged him a message about his imminent replacement - incidentally covering the right side of his screen. He shook his head and flicked his fingers, the motion dispelling the popup, but the damage was done; Voltaire fed the static image the popup had displaced into his viewscreen and froze it there, inconspicuously blinding his entire right side.

>> -Moving now. Guard's blind for the moment. Come on.

Voltaire bonelessly slid into the about three-foot-wide vent without a hitch, his joints, obviously, inhumanly flexible. He slid forward about a body length, then hung an abrupt south and descended out of sight.

>> -Air's clear. Come in and close the vent behind you. It's a straight vertical drop - looks like an emergency chemical vent in case of containment failure - so I'm holding in place. Just stand on me and I'll cosplay an elevator.

Limbs pressed against opposite sides of the vent, Voltaire looked like nothing more than the world's most awkward spider.
