Old posts ported over from the old forum contain a lot of broken HTML as a consequence of how the database transferred.

I need to figure out how to get rid of the l'il gender marker in the mini-profile, I know how to get rid of the field but I don't think that little icon is really necessary even a little. I'd also like to find a way to put different backgrounds on different categories so Osiris can look like space.

It is already really tempting to shell out ten bucks for an upgrade. We'd get our own URL, there'd be no ads, a lot more file storage... I should probably wait at least a week before I start making those kinds of commitments. Probably. I am way too excited about this wow I'm a huge nerd.

... I think the panic of realizing we might lose everything triggered my hyperfocus. I cannot think about anything that isn't roleplaying and getting this site as awesome as possible. :saddoof:

Nothing triggers hyperfocus like panic. If there were a way for me to induce panic on cue I would get so much shit done. Like this research paper. Or this other research paper. Or this accounting homework. Or this other accounting homework.
Instead I'm going to stare at the forums.net upgrade info and try to decide if it would transfer things cleanly or in some kind of confusing bullshit way that would make things harder for everyone.

Okay based on that I'd say I'll put a banner in the first post and use the sidebar in subsequent posts rather than using both in one post, because wow that looks cluttered to have alongside my miniprofile. Which means I can probably stick to the old banner style. Or... something. Definitely going to have to figure out a graphical style not designed around Tentacl's weird layout and limitations.

It was the picture of Naveen that looked most like Arjun, haha. My intent was always that Arjun looked like Naveen and Circe looked like Fo Porter, but Tentacl's layout didn't really allow for that kind of thing. Unfortunately he hasn't had any roles where he looks like that but with glasses and slightly less elaborate clothing.
Eventually I'd like to get art so I'm not using pictures of real people, but for now this works.
