Other people draw stick figures and I'm like "omg I love these stick figures" and I draw anything and am like "omg wtf is this shit"

Well look at it this way. I know and have worked with at least a dozen different professional or professional quality artists. Either helping with marketing stuff or just critiquing. And I think you did fairly well.
